so, i have been vaping for about 4 months now, and up until fairly recently, I've been doing fairly well with it.

I think what I am experiencing might be a possible PG sensitivity, but I am not sure. Maybe someone here has experienced something similar and can offer some insight.

The juice I normally buy has a very high VG content, but had to buy some more juice and was away from the B&M I usually go to. I bought some Volcano e-juice, and from what I can tell it seems to be very high PG based.

Since I have been using that, I have been having an irritation in my nasal passages. I have been producing an excess amount of mucus and will need to blow my nose several times a day. The irritation is so bad now, the outside of my nose is tender when I touch it although I can't see any sores etc...

I've gotten to the point where I think it's the PG.

Anyone else have any input?

It might be the PG. roughly 10% of the population will have an reaction to it.

Best way to test it is to DIY get some VG unflavored nic and some VG...mix down to the Nic level you need.(easy math or use ejuice calculator)

Vape unflavored for a couple days see if that helps. IF it does then Yes it's a PG problem.

Not stuck on VG unflavored forever then, just easy way to eliminate the other variables. there are several VG venders around.

My solution to nasal infection and alergies

Any time I get stopped up or feel like an ear infection is coming on, I hose it out it the sinus rinse packets...believe it or not you wouldn't believe the relief you feel when you have sinus pressure so bad it feels like you have a beachball between your eyes!

(use DISTILLED WATER!!!!!! and heat it in the microwave for about 20 seconds [till its warm but not too hot!]

It could be a PG irritation or mild alergy....clean out your sinus.

thanks for the tips... my sinuses themselves are fine... it's just the inside of my nasal passages that are sore. I am hoping it is just a slight PG sensitivity, as the stuff I vaped before had no ill effect on me. I am limited on what I have right now, but I should be able to do some experimentation with blends fairly soon.
