I am in a situation that leaves me little else to do than vape atm. average 18-20hr. wake time.
mod rarely leaves my hand and I average 15-18ml a day. I also DIY, but Volume is Cost no matter.
I've only had one instance of trouble breathing but allergies were way up that day. I vape 50/50 mixes at 30w or 25J/425F on TC.

Before the injury my average day was 4-5ml max due to work schedule/restrictions.

I would be more concerned about how much flavouring I was vaping with 30ml daily ... most high VG juices already have a higher % of flavouring in them than a 50/50 juice.

A good point .....

and my suggesting DIY to the OP would allow them to control the flavoring % as well as "afford" to continue vaping as they said it was costing them more than smoking.

I am not a flavor junkie, never got a bottle of vendor juice I didn't have to cut by almost 1/2  I like a gentle taste I guess, but in back of my mind I always thought "maybe safer?"

You are covering your lungs with a layer of VG/PG/flavorings... 30 ml is a lot. Nobody knows whether it is safe. Make your own decision. I have decided that I would not vape more than 5 ml/day, so I am not in subohming and do not use low-nic juice. Vaping is in a crazy dive right now. Some vapers drink juice with their lungs.

my ADVs are about 12% flavour in a 50/50 blend ... I am thinking of developing some with less.

some people talk about lowering their nic levels down to 3mg and even 1.5mg ... I vape about 4-5 ml per day @12mg, I'm not worried about the nicotine at all.

it's the flavouring

I agree. Nicotine is not worrisome at all.

the only reason 3+ years in I have gone to 0% or 3% nic is that I am one of (the few) with a "planned" quit vaping goal as well. But it's been over 3 years and haven't hit there quite yet. I do enjoy it, but I am also one of those people who likes to simplify, and not having to vape would be one less thing to fiddle with.
