I ordered some more LR Boge 2.0 cartos last week from 2 different vendors. I have tried random cartos from different boxes, and 95% of the ones I have tried are just crappy! The draw is really really stiff. The filler seems really stiff and overly compacted. I have a hard time even punching thru the filler when punching them for tanks. I am nearing the end of my good Boge carto stash from over a year ago, and I am getting really frustrated with these new ones. AAAGH! Is anyone else having problems with any new ones purchased recently??

Haven't heard alot of complaints lately, just some about the overpacked filler but it didn't seem like a major issue. Maybe a third hole for the tanks?

I'm in the exact same place as you, I'm finishing up last Januarys, and saw a $4 a box deal and went for it last nite, so I'll find out soon.

Also got some Boge 1.6 pretty cheap to try- I heard they're "airy" if you want to try. They come punched and flanged for the F16 tank Boge has now.

I've heard some people say that they fluff the filler with a needle in the punched hole and down from the top.

Stormysvaporcellar has something similar called CLOUDMAKERS that are good from what I hear.

Maybe the folks at Boge will do better after their long vacation, lol?

I just picked up a 5 pack today. I haven't cracked into them yet, I'm praying the aren't duds....:(

I've been on them for 2yrs now and haven't had a single DOA. They might die sooner than normal sometimes, but they always seem to work mostly. Just presoak these new ones well, and keep them soaked.

I am gonna try punching a 3rd hole. I tried "fluffing" up the filler, so far it has not helped. I even destroyed a carto trying to remove a little filler from it. I knew it wouldn't work.....but the stubborn in me just had to try it lol. I have only had 1-2 DOA's over the past 2 years, but these are just super stiff. It is seriously like sucking a super thick milkshake through a straw. The carto sounds muted too...not the crisp hiss and crackle that we are all used to.

Think I will try some of Stormy's. I have 150 from the last Bogegate that I throw in and use occasionally. I have 100 Smok Teks that taste burnt whenever I turn my volts above 3.3. And now I have 200 boges that I got last week that are seriously the worst of all of them! I am babying my last 20 good Boges from December 2011.

R7 and Jersey, let me know how yours turn out when you get them!

I just got 2 boxes of Boge 2.0s in from HHV on Friday. I noticed the filler seemed to be packed way tighter, and the juice just does NOT want to soak into the filler if top-filling the carto. The first one I tried to fill quite literally pooled juice on top of the filler, and it just sat there, not soaking in. Had to shake down the carto to get it to absorb.

I also got a few dry hits after initially filling a few of the cartos. Not filler burning dry, but dry enough to taste off. I was worried it was the dreaded Bacon flavored Boges I've heard about but was lucky enough to avoid. Nope, just filler that was being difficult and not distributing juice as it should.

I generally will fill a carto, and try it out just as a carto for an hour to so just to make sure it won't give me any problems, then I'll punch it and throw it in a tank. By the time I topped off the carto several times it was absorbing juice perfectly, giving me no issues at all.

Now it's sitting in a tank and has been performing and feeding juice perfectly, so (for me at least) the problem seems to go away after you run a bit of juice through it.

Airflow didn't seem any different than any other Boges I've used.

If the carto condoms still matter, the one box I've broken into has the super long condom on the 510 connection end, and a shorter (but still longer than some carto condoms I've come across) one on the other end. No idea if the carto condoms are still a reliable way to tell the difference between different "generation" boge cartos.

I just tried one out by punching 3 holes and using 2 circuit spacers on the connector to feed as much air to it as possible. It is working a lot better. BUT......I am not happy about having to fiddle this much to get a darn carto to work! I am used to just punch, fill, and go. I use all PG juice so punching 3 holes is a rare event for me.

I hesitate to mention where I ordered them from because it isn't the vendors fault, but I will say that one of the vendors mentioned in this thread is where I ordered 100 from last week that were tight packed and hard to use. :( But I place no responsibility on the vendor.....they have no idea what the innerds look like since they are wrapped in the box.

Well your say your refusal to say has now affected all vendors in this thread since it could be any of them per say, so now folks could be wary of buying cartos from any of them.

Haven't tried a lot of carto's yet but the boges that I have tried also had the filling that made them hard to fill. Dripping from the top Bobas Bounty would just sit there and not absorb at all, even if left overnight. Tried filling with the condom method and it worked at first but a little later I could taste burnt filler, even though the top was still soaked. Everything else that I tried that had at least 20% PG would eventually wick though. Even when they did work fine I still prefer the Smok 1.7 single coils.
