I have about 150 boges I bought in January. I have used a few and have had no problems. I also have about 25 smoketech dual coils and havent had any problems with them either. I use them in tanks 99% of the time.
I find the Boges to be harder to fill than the smok. But I actually prefer the Boges.

Surevapes ( never bought there yet) seems to sell many, and I believe knows the bad from the good. I think they were the only ones to actually pull their inventory during Bogegate. I've talked with them, and they seem like good people, and their prices are very good.

I've always bought from Vaporkings ( they have 50 for $50 shipped), and yesterdays purchase was the $4 per box deal at Hoosiers.

The old ones were so good, I'd only go thru 2 per month. Tried SM1.7's a few times, could never get them to work well, or at least as well as Boge. Had one flooded and gurgling and still gave me dry hits. Moving on to the Boge 1.6 to fill that need.

I only get mine from Sure Vapes, and have never had an issue... I got a boat load of them back in December and they have been great. Nice draw, filler material hasn't been an issue...

So at least from this batch, I would agree with this statement that Sure Vapes has good Boge's :)

Got my Boge 1.6 in today. Just got a few hrs on them, but they're nice. Quality vape that I could not get from the SM1.7's.

Fit in my MomnPop grommet tanks nicely, and the flange is below/outside the grommet, which works well for additional support.

My first foray into laser punched and I was surprised that the holes are larger than expected and about what I normally punch myself.

Smart decision on boge's part to only use half the amount of filler, but made my usual condom filling a challenge, lol. I think I'll go back to doing the priming with a blow-n-suck method with a dry carto.

Nice clouds, for a little boge on an unregulated 3.7 Joye Upgrade ego.

I think I will try the surevapes cartos with my next order. I have looked through about 2 boxes of my newest Boges and they are all just so tightly packed! I am pretty sure thats what the problem is. It is like they are being choked off due to the filler being so tight. I keep tinkering with them, hoping I can get the working somewhat better!

Yes and I started a thread about it somewhere but didn't get much response at the time. I guess it was too soon. My experience is just like yours. My thoughts about it were that they must be trying to cut down on the sound factor as I've seen recent youtubes complaining about Boges being loud and their competition being quieter. I'm using them but the draw is tighter and the sound I'm used to (cracking) isn't there anymore. They still perform okay (I don't use a tank) if you can adjust to the changes. The worst trouble I've had and am not sure if its my fault trying to get the old performance is flooding. I haven't mastered how much is too much with these yet and knew exactly how much to use before this, apparent, change. But, blowing the flooding out works. I just wish the makers of ALL the products I use would follow "if it works, don't fix it." But, I do have to admit, that these are better for stealth vaping... no noise.. and they do produce the same amount of TH and vapor on my setup.

I'm waiting for 5 boxes from surevapes and will get back to you. I'm hoping they're more what I'm used to.

Edit: thought of while reading the thread.... I turn my old cartos into attys and it was easy to do with the old ones... not so with these tighter packed ones. I succeed one out of three times so far.

Does the draw ever ease up for you Patkin? I have only been able to tolerate them for a day. I am so used to how the old boges worked that the tight draw is driving me crazy! I agree though.....TH and vapor production are still the same as the old ones. I think the quieter sound throws me off too because I am used to the nice crackle and sizzle of the old boges. *sigh*

I did order some Stormy's cloudmakers. I think I have carto fail just written all over me right now. The only mod I can use them on is a twist. Everything else seems to taste burnt, regardless of what volts I use. I am gonna keep fiddling with them too.

I just wanna consistent carto for my Billet Box when it arrives. Jeesh, is consistency just too much to ask for?!?!?!

You've ran a paperclip up thru the center and blew it out good? Have you also tried the old trick of putting a pin in the bottom holes a pushing the contact out some? I've also had some luck putting a slotted screwdriver in the bottom slot a turning very slightly left or right.

When are you getting the hard draw, on or off the PV?

Yep, tried the paper clip/pin trick. They are stiff from the get go. I air test all cartos before punching and putting in the tank. These seem to have less air flow even before punching and putting on the tank. I even put 2 circuit board spacers on my mod trying to up the air flow. I am guessing it is the tight packing of the polyfill restricting some airflow through? The center tube is not obstructed, coil is not blocking it, all my usual tricks are not working with these! :(

The airflow is tighter when attached to the mod, but I can tell the draw is stiffer even when I am blowing juice thru it to prime the carto. I like a really easy draw, I hate it when it feels like I am trying to suck a fresh Wendy's frosty thru a straw. :(

No it doesn't unfortunately but I have found that some out of the same 3-box order are easier to draw than others. But none are like they used to be. Seeing the posts after you asked, I can attest to much more material and tighter packing because I've taken the new ones and old ones apart turning them into attys. With the old ones it was comparatively easy to get the packing out but with these new ones its quite a chore... so much so that I usually break the wire and never had that problem before. I've tried removing the packing both wet and dry too. The old packing was so loose you could pretty much just unwind it from around the air shaft and it came out in tact in one long piece but the new ones you have to dig/tear out bit by bit... its really in there and like ripping a cotton ball apart. I am really hoping these three boxes are different from the 5-box order from surevapes I just received today. As soon as my DIY juice is through steeping, I'll try one and let you know. If they are, thank goodness I only have two of the tight ones left to use up.

Edit: ugh... meant to reply with quote... answering you on if the draw stays tight.

Edit: K, just filled one from the new surevapes order and they're good.. take the "right" number of drops, draw is good and snap, crackle, pop like what I'm used to... whew. I hope the rest of the 5 boxes are this good.
