Is anyone else having problems with ecf website ?

It seems when I visit certain threads, or comment on them, It won't let me visit the last page. It keeps taking me to the previous page or next to the last. I noticed this with this thread first

And certain threads don't seem to update correctly. Is anyone else seeing this, or just me ?

Guess if more people are having the same issue they'll figure out what's wrong

The website has been having some problems. Try clearing your cookies and cache. That seems to help some people.

I wasn't able to reply to a thread previous to this. Honestly just trying now to see if I can. But if I can, then there's an issue with restrictions on my account (I have enough posts, I'd think!)

Clearing cache, signing off, and rebooting seems to help.

Disk clean help me too.

One more thing, to get to the next page, you have to post again.

Hey Trouble, Yeah I tried that. But it's just certain threads so that was leading me to believe it wasn't me.

What browser are you using? Wonder if it's problem is with certain browsers.

xp pro, firefox. I did just try signing out and rebooting. So maybe that will help. Just weird that it's only on certain threads

I keep my caches and disk extremely clean. so that wasn't it


UPDATE: Seems like signing out and rebooting helped for now, thanks guys

I was having problems getting to it all night. I can get to it now though.

I've had problems using firefox but never a problem with Google Chrome. 99% of the time Chrome is amazing.

It is most likely an issue with one of our servers. The problem is, we don't know which one

You can maybe fix it by clearing your cookies and cache, then closing the browser and trying again. If that doesn't work, flush the browser again, then reboot. Basically, that stirs the mix and maybe puts you on another server...

When the problem gets real bad, we'll probably be able to figure out which server it is. Sorry

OK that is maybe too, um, unhelpful. When you get this issue, go to this URL:

It's a list of our separate server addresses, on what is called the load balancer. Pick one. Then if the problem reoccurs, you'll know it's that server (and can tell us which one maybe?). If it clears up, you'll know that server is good (and tell us?).

Yeah, and it's AGGRIVATING. I can't do the "advanced search". Everytime I click on it, a page pops up and says I can't connect to the interent...but I'm ON the net. AHHHHH! Also, last night I just got on ECF and tried to post a reply and it said I had to wait 30 secs since my last reply, and it was the first one I tried to do. So I waited a bit and tried again, same result. Didn't try anymore after that.

Last night I ran across another stuck thread using IE...

I opened firefox and was able to access the thread, it wasn't stuck...

I then went back to IE and was able to get to the next page.
