I ordered 2 boxes of cartos, and i ordered 'empty' thinking they wouldnt be filled with juice, and i could fill with my own juice.
I've been using a cart today, but thought since i work tomorrow i would try filling a carto for work..
well I opened the carto, and the carto looks like a cigar mouth piece, and inside, i see like a silver coil, and on the other end a tiny hole (where the mouth would go) Its all one piece..

i thought there would be that stuffing (like in the cart) where i could fill it with juice- how do i fill this with juice?? Is there foam under the coil part? Do i stick a syringe in the hole (in the middle of the coil) and insert the juice that way? Im puzzled
Thanks for any help!

I'm really new to vaping and don't know the differences between all the types of pv's, so I can only speak for the cartos that I use with my standard 510. After I remove the little white cap on the end that goes in my mouth and look down into it, I see a white filler material surrounding a small hole in the center. I usually refill my cartos by just dripping into the small hole at the bottom (where the threads are that connect to the battery).

Without knowing what kind of device (pv) you use, or what kind of cartomizers you got (maybe put up a link so we can have a look at what you have?), I can't really help much with how you would fill what you described.

Hi Medusvamp.

What kind of cartomizers did you order, for what kind of PV? The atomizer and cart are one piece for cartomizers, but there are quite a few variations. With a little more info someone may be able to direct you to a thread or video showing you the best way to fill the ones you purchased.

edit: caraz beat me to it. You might check the LF subforum and post your question about filling there.

If that is a 510 joyetech carto you should not see a coil after taking off the cap.

What you should have after taking the first cap off, is another flat plastic cover which you should also remove. After that is a small round indention in the plastic that you must poke a hole into (small screwdriver or paperclip should work) and then fill through the hole you just poked with a syringe.

although you said it looks like a cigar tip, which from the link you provided it should not look like that.

maybe you should post a picture of what you have :)

Hey medusavamp, I would suggest what CES said, since the link doesn't show the picture. The sub forum is here: Liberty Flights
I've only used a few different kinds of cartos, but all of them, except one type has filling. These are definitely the non-filling type that I've used before.
You might check the LF subforum and post your question about filling there.
Good luck. :) I'm sure you'll get a really quick answer from their sub-forum.

Is this the one? I use these too, the mega version. I've never taken one apart so I don't know if it has fiberfill in it or not.

Electronic Cigarette - Cartomizers - Joye eGo Cartomizer

I fill by dripping into that little hole you see in the photo (which is the battery connector end). I then blow lightly on the mouthpiece end, into a paper towel (held over the battery connector end) to get the liquid out of the tube...so it doesn't go into my mouth when I take that first drag)

I'm wondering if you're thinking that metal area with the hole is "it". If there's fiberfill in it, it's between that metal piece with the hole and the mouthpiece, I'd think. And you can't see it if you don't take it apart.

I've had a couple of duds...but all in all these work great.

Yep, I see that's what he said, but from the description (the cigar mouthpiece...tiparello?), no visible fiberfill, etc. I think it might be one of these instead. He does have an eGo...so maybe he ordered the eGo cartos....since the description says Joye eGo Cartomizer. He's possibly getting the Joye 510 confused with the Joye e-Go???

If it's the type with a hard top, then you pop off the top piece, then you pop out the 2nd piece that has 2 holes in it (I use a safety pin), then you punch a hole in the middle exposed indentation in the middle (use the safety pin). You can then use a syringe to put juice down said hole. Then you put the pieces back together and you're good to go. I also use the bottom fill method once I've poked that middle hole out for air. Confused? The Vapor Room has a couple of videos on their site about how to fill cartomizers. The second one shows Ego Mega cartos, but the technique is the same for the 510 hard tops.
Good Luck!

Yes!! It looks like this! If mine are XLs (swear i ordered regular 510..) will they 'fit' a regular eGo, and how many drop do you drop in the hole?

So i found the videos via the search (its taking time, but im learning my way around here..)
So i dont happen to have a syringe laying around, so i'll have to wait on that unless theres another method..i guess i'll just refill after my drive to work and during work.
I am 1 day without an anologue :) dont miss anything about it so far. I didnt have much time to look around at the other vids etc, but if theres a less complicated way (without syringe etc) of filling these cartos, let me know.

If there's a Tractor Supply near you, you can buy syringes there. An 18 gauge works well with these large cartos. I'm surprised they didn't include the syringe with the cartos. But, they apparently mixed up your order. These things will hold about 2 ml of liquid, which I think is about 40 drops. I noticed some posters say they drip into the hole on the battery end.
