Is de-bridging really better on attys?

I have reg, LR and HV atomizers. I tried de-bridging one to see if there really is a different in taste and the amount of liquid you use. Did not notice anything different.
Did I do something wrong?
Should it be done on a certain type of atty? I.E: LR, HV or standard?

In all honesty... I have not noticed a huge difference. BUT... I like the lack of filler and being able to see the coil. I just feel like it's easier to change flavors, and that's why I did it. Granted I've destroyed two atties in the process so far, but yeah. Really just personal preference. The bridge and wicking material is there strictly for cartridge use so it's really un-needed for dripping.

So it does not matter what type of atty you do it on?
Changing flavors would be easier.
