Is dripping supposed to be this efficient?

For the last three months or so I've used a Kayfun lite. Flavor was decent, vapor was decent, and I got tons of dry hits. I plowed through juice like a crazy person. A 15 ml bottle lasted about 1.5 days.

Since I purchased my cheapo IGO-W all that's changed. I always thought that dripping used even more juice for some reason. Seemed to make sense to me. Now at 1.7 ohms and 6v I blow clouds, flavors are incredibly rich, and if I decide to take a couple lung inhales I can get a nic buzz off of 6mg which I've never had while vaping before.
And the efficiency. It's crazy. I bought a 15 ml bottle of this delicious menthol peppermint last night and chain vaped it like usual. I've gone through so little juice that I could probably recap the bottle and ask for a refund. Not to mention how much more satisfying it is now.

I'm afraid there's no going back.

I've been dripping for what seems like forever, and recently got a KFL+ to try (seems like an initiation :D) but can't see me changing my habits. It seems a rare thing for me to finish a bottle lately, I just tend to drip one juice for a day or two, switch the cotton and on to the next! Can't beat it for flavour, and as you say, surprising efficiency!

I always read about people chugging through juice while dripping. I think it has a lot to do with how you wick. I see people stuffing their rda full of cotton. I use a piece about 1.5mm thick, and about half an inch long, just enough to go through the coil and touch the deck on both sides. My juice lasts forever.

If you want that great taste on the go,try a bottom-fed dripping RDA on a REO,RED SKY MOD or Vapage VMOD.

+1 on the Reo. Since getting a Reo mini and rm2, can't find any reason to buy anything else hardware wise! What's up with that! Maybe another Reo? But not really needed, two 18490 gets me through the day or more. Though juice use has gone up to 5 ml, before on kayfun it was more like 3/4 ml. Though rm2 is much more enjoyable and I vape more with Reo I think and had to cut my nic level with reo to 12, I used to vape 15 before. Dripping nic hit is more intense. Finally don't have to bear with the annoying kayfun whistle and crap.

Time to get a REO!

Since I started dripping I don't mess with anything else but KFLs when on the go or in the car. Even then I normally have 2 drippers primed and ready in the cupholder, and drip at stop lights.

I'd still keep the KFL though, I've found some of my juices don't work in drippers, and others I won't even put in a tank period because I feel like it'd be a waste and letdown.

I don't even look at my PTs, evods, or egos anymore. I really need to get around to selling them.

With a 1.7ohm coil an RDA won't go through juice any faster than any other atty, in fact you'll probably use less because the delivery is more efficient so you will hit it less often.

Now, a dual .5ohm rig with huge airflow with chew through juice like nobody's business...

^^ true. My nimbus is drilled out to 1/8 and dual/.4-.6 builds and I can easily go through 20ml a day if not more. I'm a 6mg or lower too, so I don't really get lightheaded nic buzz.

I love my Igo-L. I love my Octopus. Both are frugal. And when I'm too lazy to make a coil or even put in a pre-made one I use an LR 510 atomiser with drip tip and cone. I'm that lazy a lot.

It's nice to have a stockpile of old atomizers ain't it? And the cones seem positively quaint these days...I still have a bunch of 510s and even RN4081's from 1.5-3.2ohm going back to 2009. Which reminds me, I should dust off an RN4081 and 510 adapter for old time's sake...

I dripped for a good year or so before mostly switching to Boge cartomizers. And then my big dripping revelation was a 1.7 ohm 306 atomizer (just ordered through Alien Visions) on a simple 3.7V 14500 box mod.

I'm in a different boat now, being a recent convert to tanks and just noticing how my new Aerotank blows through liquid, but I'll switch back to dripping here and there. I definitely need to get an RDA and get into that to some extent, but the convenience of tanks is a new thing to me after having a vaping hiatus for awhile and they haven't put me off enough yet (despite the increased juice consumption). Maybe some day I'll delve into why tanks seem to blow through liquid, particularly a sealed connector tank where there's isn't much of an excuse other than it's so much simpler to just keep hitting a tank than it is to fiddle with dripping. That got old fast for me even after futzing around with old school cartridge tips and I see it more as a slow, relaxed activity like having a cigar or pipe than a solution to daily vaping.
