Well, if I can't unload my stuff, I MIGHT attempt a 901 mod... thinking of an even BIGGER cigar. I love my Bada Bing, but really am used to a 52 ring cigar. Same length, but almost twice as fat... sort of like a screwdriver sized battery.... hmmmmmmmmm........

How about a couple of disposable Ruyan's to tide you over 'til you make the mod? I think that's supposed to be about a 50 ring size. :)

Welll with what we would have spent on analogs we spent instead on e-cigs so I am guessing we are at the breaking even part. We still have plenty of juices and now have tons of carts too. We are working off 3 atomisers 3 batteries 1 charger and 2 USB passthroughs. ( We gave a battery, charger and atomiser to our daughters friend to help her with quiting or at least cutting back on analogs. ) This was to just get her started.

I do regular maintenance on our atomisers and at the moment they all are working fine. If one dies then I will look into replacing it. Using juices are much more economical as far as I can tell.

I've spent about $200 on hardware, spares and liquids which gives me a break-even at around 2 months. I've got enough liquid for at least 3 months and enough spare atomisers/batteries to hopefully last much longer than that. So yes, I'd say vaping is cheaper if you can resist the urge to keep trying out new flavours and gadgets before your old ones run out. Easier said than done, I know.

After about a month or so, I would be even if it were not for the fact that
a) someone stole one so I had to replace it
b) I bought more stuff than I needed at first

Will prolly break even next month.

Its okay, though.

I feel better.
I smell better.
My teeth are whiter.
I don't have to freeze to smoke when its cold outside!

This is my first post, esmoking about a month now I also have dove into it by spending a lot on hardware and juice about $600 so far just trying to find my groove. Also am supplying the wifes e-cig habit since we both gave up anologs together smoking 25 years each. I must say it is worth every penny both tried to stop anologs many times. I think the price of guilt free smoking for the both of us is as the credit card ad says priceless.

I'll attest to the fact that Rita smells pretty good. But then, she smelled pretty good before :)

Love ya, Rita!

Well thanks to this forum I made a wise choice for my first purchase which was from Steve. So far I've spent $223 on a Pilot M401 with juice & extra carts, a Classic penstyle coming from Steve, & extra atomizers, & a bottle of juice from Totally Wicked. I figure that should keep me going for a while with the exception of bottles of juice. Oh I also ordered a USB passthru. Up here in Idaho cigs are $35 a carton & I was buying a carton every 4 days. So I figure in about 7 weeks I should break even. Eventually I want to quit everything so I will really break even then! I just enjoy this stinking habit way too much & it's so hard to give up! But with these ecigs I'm closer than ever to stopping the "stinkies" as Kate calls them.

For some of us this becomes an interest and hobby as well as an alternative to tobacco, so it's hard to put a price on the value of that. I think that generally the start-up costs are high and things calm down a bit after the initial splurge. I'm pretty sure that I'm not saving money but I feel a hell of a lot healthier since I stopped tobacco - so it's money well spent in my view.

It's not even close for me and I'll never make up the cost difference. I was a light smoker but I'm a heavy vaper. I'm happy to be a non-smoker again but my addicting personality and my love of gadgets has been my downfall. It's no big deal though. I'm vaping typically low or no nic e-juice and I've enjoyed my new hobby.

Yeah! That's what's happening to me! I'm fresh, REAL fresh from quitting analogs (2 days now). I'm a tech head anyway and this plays right into my passions.

I want the cigar, I want the pipe, I want this, I want that. I want to determine the juice flavors to go best with meat, fish, dairy, wine. I want it all baby and fear I may have opened up pandora's box.

..jesus, all we need now is an eWeed.

I actually quit smoking over a year ago, but have been chewing nicotine gum ever since. One months worth of Nicorette cost me about 180.00

Currently, I've spent around $500 on E-cigs in the past 2 weeks. So far, definitely not a money saver, but I am positive that once I try a few things out, I will only be ordering the odd atomizer and e-juice, so in the long run, yes, it will be a big savings.

So far, my items received are:

Smoking Everywhere GOLD KIT (Nothing "Gold" about it. Biggest waste of money. do NOT get it) w/ 3 packs of cartridges, all off of ebay - $100 with shipping

Njoy Npro w/ 3 packs of carts - $150 with shipping

PS Pilot w/ 3 packs of carts and 15ml juice - $80 with shipping

Janty Dura-C w/ 3 packs of carts w/ PCC and e-Juice (Yea I know, Dura-C battery doesn't fit in the PCC, but it was advertised on the same page as the Dura-c. Shame on Janty for that. But I do hear they will be releasing auto batteries that do fit) - $145 with shipping

2 30ml e-juice bottles from JC - $50 with shipping

Now, you do *not* have to go as crazy as I did with the purchasing, especially in 2 weeks time, but I am really eager to find the best device or 2 that suit me, and on top of that, I spent over 100 on a complete lie, so I do not really count that as far as savings go.

I drip 2-3 drops each time I want a "cigarette" and then puff it dry in between. I can get 300-325 cigarettes from a 15ml bottle and that bottle lasts me about a month. I save $100 a month.

I used to smoke a pack a day, now I smoke the equivalent of 10 cigarettes a day. I am still on the same atomizer (8 months total, 2 months of that completely e-cig) and have used three batteries total in that time.

If you take care of a good piece, keep it clean and use it properly, you can definitely save. Overall, I am ahead of the game... :)
