most of the cheaper stuff on FT is copies but thats not to say they dont work well. several people I know have the twists and they seem to work fine.

the best thing to do is look under the product at the reviews and discussions, usually if a product has problems or isnt worth it people speak up and talk about it.

you may see no reviews for a purple twist but look through the colors lol the black may have several 100.

in the case of a return fasttech is pretty good with their warranty or returns policy, send it to Miami and they send you a new one or give you credit.
almost all my orders are for attys so i rarely have problems.

Fast Tech are fine for cheap knock off products. An Ego-T is not worth $20 unless it's an Ego-T upgrade which I have. But here is the bottom line. Stores have to make money somehow. Yes you can get a good Ego Twist or like battery for about $15 on FT and that same battery would cost $30 at a store here. But you are paying for convenience, having it now instead of whenever it finally gets to you from FT and if you have an issue with it the day after you buy, you take it back into that store and most likel they will replace it for you. With FT you would have to ship it back to them at your expense and then wait another 2-6 weeks to get it back. Your call if it's worth it or not.

I must add I have both purchased from a store and I have purchased it from FT. The thing about FT like stated by the above poster is that a lot of stuff are clones. But then so is a lot of the stuff being sold here in B&M stores. In fact I'd say a lot of that stuff is purchased from you guessed it, Fasttech. I know that an IGO-L I bought from Desertvapes.com is the same one from FT.

not quite true. many dont know that Joyetech, innokin and several others are price fixing and will ban a reseller or pull ther Authorized vendor status for not adhering to the ridiculous markup, so you pay some for convenience but much of it is fixed so high for no reason. they will not allow one reseller to undercut others.

this is why so many of them hate fasttech, they are buying in bulk using satellite companies and then selling for less (this is only true of authentic products)

I think fasttech has a lot of factory rejects. Stuff that isn't good enough to put a brand name on but still works.
A common complaint on batteries is sloppy threads. I recently got a twist and the threads are really bad at the top but get better when you tighten it down. It would probably be easy to cross-thread so I have to be careful.
Other things are the mAh might not be up to par or the adjustment has crunchy feel.

It was $12 for a $26 battery. Worth it if you don't mind a little hassle and have backups so you don't have to depend on it.

I only get stuff that has a lot of good reviews. Read the reviews so you know what to expect.

Ignoring the fact that EVERY manufacturer of goods sold in the US does that, can I ask what that has to do with the OP's question?

If you have purchased from a brick and mortar store, or ebay, or an online re-seller... chances are you have already used a fasttech product. I know for a fact the vape store close to me uses Protank II knockoffs from fastech. They are the ones with the tinted glass, they even color code the flavor types. But my local store wont sell the knock offs to the public, they just have them in the sample rigs for trying juice. They sell the real deal ( or a good counterfit ) at 50$ a piece!!!!

I go there for juice tasting, and occasionally a few coils... everything else I bought online, some from fasttech. The two things I wont skimp on are real name brand coils, and juice. Everything else can be copied and copied well.

When I browse around the brick and mortar store I look at what they have for sell, if I like it I order it online ( fasttech ) is cheapest. But I always buy at least one bottle of juice to show a little support...

Fasttech is a great place, I got a Vamo v3 and SVD full big kit form them. Both work great without any problems. I even got coils for the kanger from them, 4 out of 5 work great and there's always that one that is doa. Even mech mods and a good deal and even there rba and other tanks. All in all I think I spend over 300$ on fasttech this year on mods and stuff, now if I wanted to buy all this at local venders or big top name websites it would be close to like 900$.

FastTech does sell clones, and some are low quality. But they don't "trick you" - if they state the brand name, then it's legit.
So if it says KANGER ProTank - that's a Kanger ProTank. But if is just says "Ego" then it's a no-name copy...
I've gotten several things from them, and the Innokin and Kanger stuff is just a great bargain.
The knock-off stuff for me has been like 50/50 - some of it cheaply made, some of it fine...

OK I started a discussion about this so we don't derail this one. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...turers-have-minimum-pricing.html#post11296818

This is a very valid point. They do state when something is a clone of something else and when it is authentic. Also look at reviews, they are a good indicator if a product is made well.
