I had my KR808D e-cig sitting on my desk the other day. It's a long white battery (105mm) with a black cartomizer. I've also got a clip from a mechnanical pencil attached so it doesn't fall out of my pocket. A co-worker came into my office, picked it up, tried to write with it and proceeded to tell me my pen was broken. So if you want an e-cig that doesn't stand out at all, this could be the way to go.

Natalia, Nitebreed: Thanks for the "laughs". I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought it was humorous.

Pneathery: After this happened, I've thought of somehow attaching a ball-point pen tip at the end so I could actually write with it to make the ruse that much better.

mwa102464: Cool! There's that adage about certain minds thinking alike :)

OldDragon: LOL! If I see you coming, I'll be sure to put it away. BTW, I did grab it from my coworker before she had a chance to start banging it on the desk to get it to work.

LastoftheBreed: I found a set of cheapie mechanical pencils that were close to the size I needed, detroyed the pencils to get the clips, then reshaped the clips to fit. It took 2 pairs of pliers, a bit of muscle, and a little patience. I think I paid $5 for a set of 5 pencils. Pretty interesting comparison with your Volcano: with the clip, my 808 looks like the cheapest utilitarian skinny pen you can buy that hotels give away for free !
