Is it a problem with the juice?

I'm vaping with a protank 2 and a 1000 mAh kangertech 3.7v passthrough evod. I bought some 50/50 juice from a shop until my online order comes in an there isn't a lot of flavor but there's enough to get some flavor. I like a nice TH and I'm just not getting it with this stuff. I've gone back to my vv battery and running it at 4.8v but I feel like the flavor is lost at that voltage . Do you think it's just a bad batch?

Could be a fresh batch and the flavor hasn't fully developed. Also as you continue to vape and your sense of smell and taste recover, what tasted great one month can taste like crap the next.

Other contributing factors are the atomizer being used, how long you've been using the same wick and coil, how gunked up up the coil is can diminish flavor and quantity of vape. One can usually tell when servicing is required by the reduction of vape quality.

Or you could of gotten a bad batch. Keep in mind also that the exact same juice flavor can change when vaped in different atomizers.

All of the above comments are correct.

After years of smoking your taste buds are shot. They will recover once you have stopped smoking (length of time varies person to person). Just know that at first you may not taste much of the flavor of your juices. Tip: Be sure to exhale some of your vapor out your nose - your nose has more input with "tasting" flavors than your tongue. Tip: Cinnamon & Mint flavors are the strongest flavors.

"Throat hit" is most determined by the concentration of the nicotine in the e-liquid. Try increasing the nic concentration for more throat hit.

Pg in the e-liquid is said to be a better flavor carrier. Vg is responsible for vapor production. A 50/50 pg/vg ratio is a nice mix for both flavor and vapor production.

Different juice attachments will produce slightly different flavor production from another. Old coils (atomizers) or old cartomizers (cartridges) can mute or taint flavor production. They should be replaced every couple of weeks. These are all mass produced by the thousands (millions ?) in China with literally no quality control, so expect some bad batches.

Flavors of e-liquids vary widely from one manufacturer to another and is quite subjective from one person to another. What one person likes another will not, and vice versa.

When I first started my taste buds were ruined by smoking. I hope it is about over. Early on, it didn't matter what the flavor was, I didn't taste much. Mint ejuice helped.

X1000 on the Mint flavoring. I mix a 10ml bottle of Tobacco Red with a 10ml bottle of Peppermint. Both are 60/40 VG/PG mix. i do the same for my wife with her Tobacco Gold. The mint really livens up the taste. I used to occasionally smoke menthol...namely Camel Crush, the one that had an ampule in the filter that you crushed to release flavor. This mix reminds me of that...I like it a lot.
