Is it anything that you hate about vape?

For the first few days I felt a little flu-ish or like I had been huffing glue or something... now that its been quite some time, I like vaping, but one thing I don't like is the maintenance it takes to get the most out of your supplies. Cleaning atties, making sure batteries are all charged up and ready when you need em. If you mix your own liquid then you got the extra fiddle factor with constantly mixing this and that and occasionally making a flavor that has ear wax after taste... Seems my room is full of accessories that used to just be a box and lighter.

The dry mouth thing is hard to believe but since people are telling me this, it has to be true. Not worried too much about dry mouth because I'm sure it's no dryer than when I smoke analog. I didn't think about the ordering though, that's something I want to keep ahead of. I really appreciate your responses, because I just wanted to know of the few if any annoyances about these products. Thanks again ECF !!!

I hate the fiddle factor at times. If you mess something up it can ruin your whole day. And there's no running to the corner store for juice if you run out.
I'm also not fond of the absurd pricing of some bits. I'm sorry and I'm sure the fans of them would disagree but there is no way a steel tube and a button is worth $200 or more.

For me, the dry mouth phenomenon isn't as noticable as when I first started out a year ago. Maybe it's b/c I am subconciously drinking more fluids or I'm just used to it or my body is compensation somehow.

I hate the fact I can't pick up on all the "complexities" in flavours that others can. I hope my taste buds aren't shot and/or still healing.

I can't usually either. I think a lot of that has to do with the power of suggestion more than anything else IMO. I also can't pick up any subtleties in wine like others can...I can only taste grape and maybe some wood. I can't get any of the other flavors. Maybe I'm just an "inadequate taster".

I hate getting terrible liquids. I know taste is subjective but when it says it's supposed to taste like something then it really should taste like it. For example I started vaping because I wanted to get a cigar flavor. Out of many companies I tried and hundreds of dollars wasted only one company makes a great cigar flavor because they extract from real cigars

I don't hate anything about Vaping, quite the opposite actually. My budget is fixed with only a portion allotted each month for 'fun stuff' so I can't get most things Id like to try. At this time I am saving for an upgrade in my PV. Still using my original 'looks like an analog' that I bought in October 2011. Not a darn thing wrong with it and am grateful its done its job. No analogs since the day I stopped them-10/1/2011-and no craving for one either. Yeah, its done its job:)

Simply love to vape. I love the tinkering w/ stuff, my little collection, trying new stuff and being off analogs. I've even gotten used to ordering online now that I have a better feel for what/when to order.

In the beginning i did hate the learning curve. Took me a minute to figure everything out.

I found my mouth was dry for the first few weeks of vaping, but then I guess my body adapted because I drink an average amount of water now and I feel great!
One thing I dislike is ordering juices that sound great and then taste horrible. I think my search is over and I've found what I like, but I have a lot of yucky juices stowed away now.

The dry mouth thing does go away, in my case at least. I have dry mouth problems that will never to away because I take 1500mg lithium each day plus couple other meds. About 2 weeks after I started vaping my tongue turned white, felt like someone put superglue over my taste buds, and it went numb. I dealt with that for a couple weeks and then it went away. Now I have no more problems with dry mouth than before.

Once I ran out of supplies and smoked a couple packs of cigarettes, made me dizzy and sick, don't underestimate the contents of cigarettes above and beyond nicotine. No more tar and heavy metals now :)

Those complaining about upkeep on attys, switch to cartomizers with a tank and throw the $2 things away when they die. I stuck with ego-t system way too long, it was a big pain in the neck. Great idea in theory, horrible in execution.

Ordering online is a pain, especially considering sometimes things arrive in 3 days and sometimes it takes a month. Wish Amazon handled vaping supplies other than PG/VG, I get stuff from there almost immediately.

Bad juice is a problem, I bought a huge bottle of vanilla that was so strong, I had to equip myself to make my own juice just to dilute it. Glad I did now, I can make it how I like it. Always seemed like the flavor was so weak that it just managed to taste a little worse than nothing or so strong I couldn't vape it without gasping.

I try to tell people that vaping is cheaper than smoking, well that's good in theory but I've spent more on vaping over the last few months than I would have smoking. The juice is cheaper but because of all the hardware I've bought it has become quite expensive. I should be stocked up now so I shouldn't have to buy much for quite awhile. Sure, lol
