This just may be an original question asked, as I've never seen it asked before. You should get a prize for this, LOL.

I hope it's not bad to do, as I have enough attys in my stockpile to dedicate an atty or carto to each flavor I have. To keep the juice from drying out, I leave the cart on and put a cap on the mouthpiece. I'll be back to see what the pros have to say about this. Thanks for asking. Happing vaping. :)

I can't say for sure but I'll give you my opinion.

From what I've seen of eliquid build up on fluval that the same happens for attys. Obviously, we have to clean attys on occasion. Leaving liquid in contact with the atty overnight probably give the liquid the opportunity to evaporate on the atty. Attys perform much better if you blow them out periodically during the day. So, chances are it would probably be best to blow them out at the end of the day too. Just my 2 cents.

I have definitely observed that juice flows in whichever direction gravity takes it.

If you leave your cartridge attached for a long period of time without using it, like overnight, then I think you may experience one of the following two issues...

1) Leave it sitting cartridge side up and you might flood the atomizer overnight
2) Leave it sitting battery side up and you might have no juice for your morning vape

I always blow out my atomizer every morning and clean the battery connections with a tissue.
This takes about 20 seconds and one single square of toilet paper.

And then I know I have all the old juice out of there.
And I put about 6 drops in to start the day.

After that, two or three drops at a time as needed.

Works GREAT for me.

But then you get to cook and vaporize that bacteria :)

I leave the cart on the atty all the time. I just make sure it's not so wet as to flood the atomizer. Usually the next morning, the flavor is actually better.

As far as leaving them like that for a long period of time. No. I use 2 or 3 atomizers in rotation. The others (after the vapor dies on them) get cycled to a bin. I drop them in vodka for a couple days, then dry naturally and dry burn them to see if they will work @3.7v. If they don't they get dropped back in the bin to use at HV. Once they stop @HV, the get dropped in another bin to rebuild at a later date.

...

It is an Original question !!!

Every mourning I scan down the "New Posts" and 50% are the same thing.

"How do I fill a Cartomizer?"
"KR808 or 510 ?"
"How long does ____ Last?"
etc.

This one caugth my eye. So here is something that I don't think has been mentioned.

If you have a manual battery and the button gets pressed in or stuck, your going to fry your atty / cart if it is attached.

So if you leave your e-Cig on your desk and you slide a book on it, or keep it in a case and the lid presses the button, your going to have problems.

I would suggest that you take the cart / atty off a battery that is not in use.

For the 510's I leave the cart/atty on battery and stand upright. When I'm ready to vape, they are very flavorful and good to go.

When I carry the 510's around i.e. to work, shopping etc. I carry them upside down so the motion doesn't flood the atty and make the juice leak.

If I should get the gargling on an atty, I blow the atty out and am good to go once again.

For the auto batts 901's, I park them upside down. They don't travel well without leaking so I leave them at home.

I vaped all the way to SoCal and back with the DSE905 and it seems to prefer laying down with cart/atty attached. No leaking and good to go whenever I wanted.

The 510 5v mod doesn't seem to care which way it is carried or lays or stands. With cartomizers, I put the cap on the non-connector end and that seems to create the air pressure to keep the juice from leaking in between vaping sessions.

Now the perfect solution is the juice box mod. It is ready to go with a few squeezes and the extra juice flows back in the little reserve bottle when I'm not vaping.

I haven't used the cartomizers when traveling and am wondering how they will keep the juice under control if left on. It is so much fun to have the option of having different pure flavors to vape with them that I think I will be taking them off when traveling and on the batts only when I'm vaping.

Honestly I think it's good to keep your cart attached to the atty. If used often enough it would keep the juice from evaporating on the atty in the night and turning into gunk that will become caked on when you use it again, increasing the life of the atomizer.

Sometimes in the morning I drip in some water-heavy VG to wet down my atomizer before starting vaping, and I blow out the excess.

Still can't figure out how someone from Carlsbad ended up in Indiana,. Wow, talk about culture shock! Nice to see you again, SuZamme.

I leave mine attached and I've only lost 2 attys since December (knock on wood). I think they last longer when they aren't allowed to dry out. After I clean them I drop in a couple of drops of VG and store them standing up on the battery end and place them in a baby food jar. So far so good. :)

I've noticed the LR attys from Eastmall leak and need to be blown out more often then my other attys, but I still like them on the eGo. I bought some of Xtreme Vaping's new attys and am amazed that there is nothing on the battery threads or anywhere even after a day of heavy dripping. I really love these so far!!

Yep, I did this. It's funny, because I was always very careful about this, because it occured to me that it was a definite possibility, and one day I went into walmart to get something to clean my atty with, and stuck my 510 in my purse. I usually would put it in a little pocket by itself, but not thinking I just threw it in, and when I came out and took a puff it tasted terrible. I checked it out and it was FRYED. I've tried cleaning it with polident, and no luck. It looks clean, but tastes and smells awful still. Definitely won't make that mistake again. The worst part is that I only have the 2 atomizers I started with and the one I fried was the one that was still in good shape, and the one that needed cleaning needed cleaning because it had a very stubborn pina colada tasted stuck in it. Needless to say, I'm about to invest an as many atty's as I can afford at the moment, lol.

Use my pv about once a week and leave the cart on the atty with no problems. My drip tip atty seems to have more issues than the one left with cart attached ,which kinda puzzles me now.Only use my pv when going out and don't always know in advance when that might be, so grabbing my pv and gear quickly sometimes after work happens without cleaning ,clearing, refillering ,etc.Would think it would not do much to leave it on the atty.Good luck.

I don't think it's a bad thing.. long as the cart isn't full. Before I store an atomizer, I always blow through the battery end to heat it up and "clean it", anyway.

Any time I'm not using any of them, though, I always unscrew them partially to avoid them accidentally activating and frying. I guess that could cause me to break one someday. Never really thought about it!
