I do break mine down every night, but I don't go whole hog. I remove the battery so I can charge it at night, then I take off the cart and cap it, and place the atty upside-down on a piece of tissue paper to let it drain. That's about it. Assembly only takes a few seconds in the morning, so it's not a big deal really, but I don't go all out with soaking or anything. I'll probably do a weekly thing where I soak it in some isopropyl alcohol or something just to help remove any buildup, because I can see this stuff turning to varnish if you let it sit long enough, or even if you get juice on parts that don't usually stay moist; that stuff can build up and gum up the atty, so it's probably a good idea just to give it a cleaning periodically. But nightly? Probably not necessary.
