Dripping > Bottom Feeding?
I started as a bottom feeder, only used a bottom feeder. Then we got some kGos as backup, used cartos (Dc) then I decided to try and drip (aero 510 dripping atty from avidvapor). WTF! it hits smoother with much better flavor? am I nuts or is bottom feeding not as good as dripping? (at least for flavor)

Yeah I did, its a huge difference, I thought it was in my head so I had my GF try it too. She agrees, Infact I notice dripping tastes better on all my attys except 306s and 801s. also I agree its a little lame having to drip, so I only do it while im at home. But I might buy a vapemate to go with my prodigy (once it arrives) so I can 'drip' while on the go without carrying a bottle and fiddling around with crap

I just drip 3 drops then vape untill I can "hear" the atty (for some reason if theres not enough juice in this atty it sizzles a second after I stop vaping so I know to drip some more) its werid but it works perfect. But discovering the flavor of dripping is making me neglect my reo grand :( (untill I get my i06 Drip tip)

i still prefer to drip over a bottom feeder. however, i have not spend much time with my bottom feeder (a cheap old goats mod), and i think part of the problem might be my tendency to flood the atty when i am using the bottom feeder. i am not giving up on bottom feeders just yet, i would love to have an excuse to buy a reo.

That's where it killed me. Never got the drip and hits correctly. Always got to either the burnt flavor or flooded the atty. I finally decided that it wasn't for me.

As for your REO. Don't worry, you'll be back to it in no time LOL Honestly, if you really like flavor and smooth vapor than you will probably be a fan of IKV 801's with a stealth adapter from Avid. I just didn't like those because they didn't deliver the kick that I needed. Since I'm a TH junky and not a fan of a smooth hit.

Anyways, just got my i06's but I haven't even tried them yet. Probably in the next few days. They're pretty big compared to a 306. Hope they perform and last awhile.

Well, if your having a problem with flooding your atomizer. An easy trick from what I've heard is to lightly squeeze the bottle every time that you would drip into your atty like you would do when your dripping.

I usually do it every 5 hits or so.

I actually have 801 and mini 801, I dont care for them...to Airy? I duno what it is but the draw is to light or something. Altho the IKV 901 and 510s are great. I like the avid AERO and I cant fking wait till I get my driptip for my i06, I love my 306's on my reo, but my 306s are dying. And the i06 is getting great reviews. there is a vid of..someone cant recall his nick but he dripd 3 drops and got 20+ hits off it..not little baby vapes either, full clouds! seems very juice efficent. Thats the only crap thing about my AERO, it burns up my juice pretty quickly (and I hate to waste my pinkspot) and sucks on a bottom feeder :p

I'll agree with that. It added to the light TH I was getting. Anyways, I've been reading some good reviews myself about the i06 but wanted to see for myself and compare them to the Cisco 306's. Didn't see that vid but sounds like some good news to me since I bought 4 of them. I hope they live up to the hype.

One of the bad things I heard about them is that it's hard to get the taste out of them. Even with a good alcohol soaking.

If your using a bottom feeder to feed an atty, to me it's the same thing with the same results. Personally, I'll take cartomizers over atty's any day. Only time I use them is to try new juices.

I prefer cartos on bottom feeders too, it's like I kind of have a reserve tank so it's a little forgiving of my tendency to be overzealous in my squeezing.

bottom feeding (in a reo) is essentially the SAME as dripping.

In dripping you are dripping straight on the atomizer, it heats up, you vape it..............
With a Reo, you squeeze up some juice, again, straight on the atomizer, it heats up & you vape.

I don't know what type of bottom feeder you are using. I know that i've tried several & none perform like a REO does.

Everyone has their own tastes and experiences really. I have never tried a bottom feeder, I have probably tried every carto on the market though. Only one I like is the dual coils at the moment in a DCT tank. My favorite is an SLB801LR atty with drip tip. Too many other 801's on the market are airy, not the SLB. Best flavor and vapor out of any atty's I have tried.

I use a reo. I dont know if you have tried the AERO from avidvapor but theres a big difference. On my reo its either flooded or dry, rare do I get good hits on this atty with my reo. So I hated this atty for a while, then I tried to drip with the aero, now I like it :p

edit:So I guess its not a difference in reality other than I get the right amount of juice on the atty with driping. But I like getting the perfect amount every hit, so for my AERO it will stay on a tube style. 306s will be for my reo :)
