Hi, on my 6th day of vaping (very proud of myself I must say) with no smellies!! About 10 years ago I had patches/inhalator and can't remember the name but also a tablet which was supposedly meant to take "all desire" of a cigarette away - they didn't work! I suffered for 5.5 weeks before giving in! My Tornado tank thus far, is a completely different story but, when I gave up before, I could smell the people who smoked v the people who didn't but, after 6 days, I can smell a cigarette but not recognise it on people who do smoke. Is this usual or just me?

I would say that it is normal i smoked for 15 years and could never quit for longer than about 6 weeks with the gum, patch, cold turkey, i had even tried the Blu a long time ago. This time i have been without an analog for 4 1/2 months thanks to much better ecig tech. I did notice the same thing that you have described. And as i have talked to doctors and other people i have found that TAR builds up in the lungs and on the tongue when you smoke. When you quit smoking analogs the first thing to give up that tar is the tongue. This will make your food taste better. Then as the lungs start to heal and the tar in them becomes less and less you will start to smell things better. Hope that this quick reply helps.

Keep vapeing and you will be Smoke Free.

Oh, you will smell it on people soon enough. Your sense of smell is still adjusting after only 6 days.

I walked past a woman last week who was coming into the building from having a smoke outside. As I went past her, I noticed that she reeked of cigarette smell. It was disgusting, and made me angry with myself and embarrassed to have been a smoker for so many years. I'm determined never to be a smoker again. Ever!!

No it is not, I have been off real cigs for 7 months but have been on ecigs since they first showed up on the net.The longer you are off the real things the more crazy your sniffer will get, until one day you will hate the smell of smoke and see what people were talking about when they said cigs stink.I hate the smell of real smoke now.[ good job so far just keep a hot battery and ejuice with you at all times ]
