Is it Just My Tree of Life Clone That Just Plain Doesn't Work? Or Does Yours too? Help!

Got a Tree of Life set in the mail today and the switch is a complete piece of junk. It pretty much doesn't work at all. There are two little vent holes(?) on the inside of the locking ring and the switch catches on them when it's pressed. It also doesn't make good contact with any batteries so I have to run the switch out further than I would prefer just to get enough reach to make contact which exacerbates the issue further.

Any ideas? Or are these just junk? I emailed the seller and am waiting to hear what he has to say.

Try adjusting the Top screw down to secure the battery



Keep the bottom screw tight.

Tried this, still no joy. If I adjust the top screw down far enough to hold the battery it seems like the atomizer doesn't make a connection.

PS, thanks for the help guys. These mechs are a learning experience.

That should be a (2) piece top setup. You only back down the inner screw. The outer stays up against the atty.

I wish that were the case. I can see the top move as I screw the bottom in or out.

can you post a picture of the top cap 510 adjustment screw? maybe the smaller battery rattle adjustment screw fell out or was in the box on delivery... something like that?

Please post pics, as said above it is no doubt a 2 piece top screw. One for the atty and one for battery.

Mine has had no issues at all with any atty I've put on it.

Haha! Victory is achieved!
That video was what I needed. The two adjustment dials were screwed together on mine so I thought they were one piece. I feel silly. Thanks to everybody for the help!
