my smok tfv8 baby is using a 0.15 ohm coil but it's reading at 0.23 is that normal?
Is it normal for a 0.15 ohm coil to read 0.23?

Yes, nothing is perfect. The ohm reader could be a touch off, the manufacturer may be a touch of, the rain may be a touch off.
Pretend you have a mod from 2-3 yrs ago that only read to tenths. Then, you're only off by one, no big deal.
after i took it off for a while and put it back on it's now reading at .17, strange...
It might be an idea to give things a clean. They tend to collect dirt and dust which gets gummed together by spilt/leaked ejuice. Clean all threads and contacting parts with a tissue or a q-tip and a drop of alcohol. Coils do tend to go up in ohms as they get older. Just one of those things.
