Is it okay to use a 99.6% pure PG?

Hi everyone. So, I bought some PG from a local manufacturer and it says on its label that it is 99.6% pure. Is it okay to use it for my DIY liquids?

Depends entirely on what that .4% is. This is why people buy food safe pg.

Please only use 100% USP Propylene Glycol. If it isn't that or equivalent then you should avoid it at all costs. Your health is worth it for you to pay a little more for a higher grade product.

I don't think PG ever gets to 100%, although I've seen 99.8% and 99.9%. The key is making sure it's USP pharmaceutical grade (not food grade) or equivalent. I think 99.6% could be pharmaceutical grade, but as said above it depends on what the impurities are.
