Is it possible to re-wick Iclear30's?

Does anyone know if this is possible or has anyone successfully done it?

Did some searching and didn't see any videos or posts

Someone told me since they are Dual Coil's - this cannot be done.

I'm trying to prove him wrong

been trying to rebuild one last night and today. re-wick it, sure. no problem at all. the real problem is building the coils for the wicks. lol. long stem, not much room, recessed fittings. it's been.... entertaining. I'm thinking the "factory" decided they wanted to make rebuilding cheap heads as hard as possible, so they can keep making 1000% or better margins on buying expensive replacement heads from them. have started thinking about just re-wicking it with hemp, and then trying to set it up with just a single coil. also entertaining. no luck here yet.

damn yea i have some hemp as well and would be ideal if that could work.. just not good enough with rba's yet to try it myself, but if it were possible I could get my buddy to do all the hard work and I could just reap the benefits

the coils run in parallel, so if one fries, the other works. but there is such a long travel from base to coil, and so little space, it's pretty messed up trying to get it right. at least I'm not bored. let me know if you figure it out also.

rebuilt the iclear with a single coil, didn't have non resistance wire to build the dual coil back, but they can be rebuilt. soon as my silver wire gets here i will take a shot at the dual coil.

I have been trying to rebuild my iclear 16's and 30's with no luck yet.I do not understand why they built these in the small narrow posts.Still trying though will not give up.I will post follow up if successful on either one.

i think they did it that way on purpose, to keep you coming back for head replacements. it can be done with a single coil, just use a small piece of rubber to cover the bottom slots on the post and use the top wick slot. still haven't gotten my NR wire to try the dual yet. maybe vape mail today.
