Is it possible to vape straight pg or vg? I ask this because my husbands new equipment came in the mail today and he has never been a smoker but wants to vape with me and finds it fun. But he doesn't want the nicotine part and we were wondering if it was safe to vape just the pg/vg by itself?

Yep. You can vape one or the other or any combination of both.

Yes and you can buy flavorings for it to make it even more fun. Nicotine is optional. Breathing plain air is the safest thing, and no studies have been done to prove vaping just pg/vg is completely safe. So he is taking some risk for his fun.

VG will be better at least initially then. It is gentler on the throat and is quite a nice sweet vape all on its own, plus it gives clouds of vapour.

Yes there is a risk in everything and he said the biggest risk he's taken and still enjoys is getting married But he said this is way better than kissing an ashtray every day and is pleased to see that i've finally taken steps to better our future and prolong our time together.

Why not just order a nice bottle of 0 nicotine juice in a great flavor? Backwoods Brew has good juice in zero nicotine.

Just keep in mind that a pure VG juice won't work on a carto. It's too thick to wick properly. Get a new atty that has never been used on nic juice and let him vape from that.

Absolutely. I have done it in just playing around with making my own juice. Kind of tasting each ingredient as I add more to it.

Tersur if I was still in BFE Kentucky we would come over for a social vape. I'm actually from a small town near Fort Knox but moved to Texas recently

If you use straight VG, as noted, it is very thick, but you can dilute it with distilled water, I dilute mine at around 80vg/20 water. If it's still too thick, add more until you get the consistency you want. Some use vodka to dilute, but I don't keep any around, recovering alcoholic (to add to recovering smoker) so I use water.
