This is week TWO of having no smoke in my hair, my lungs, my teeth after over 30 years of smoking cigarettes! First Time I vaped I tried my friends setup with Fire n Ice flavor in it. Since then, I have followed the advice of getting sample packs and trying other flavors. From Strawberry Banana to Chocolate Truffle... I still go back to liking only Fire n Ice. Is that possible to find your all day favorite vape on the first try?

Howdy from Texas :D Looking forward to your replies and continued advice!

It's possible but unlikely. I loved RY4 to start, then black cherry, then peanut butter, and now my all day vape is some apple concoction i make.

My wife still swears by the RY4 or a menthol liquid.

I found that experimenting is good because it stopped me getting bored and returning to smoking. I can still happily vape any of the above, but not for weeks at a time as i do with my current flavour.

Anything's possible but I will tell you that your sense of taste is gonna change , eventually for the better or you might get vaper's tongue and not be able to taste your juice for a while , that's happened to a lot of us it's both side effect of quitting smoking and adaping to inhaling vapor instead of smoke , but your tastes most likely will change , you have just started and there's literally thousands of juices to try so good luck and welcome to the ECF and congrats on quitting .

I think one of the best things about e-cigs is being able to change it up. I've been running multiple flavors since I started and have definitely found it's usually a love-it or hate-it type thing. Interestingly, I've had some that I liked at first go bad on me the next day...and others that I disliked at first warm up after puffing a few. It's been quite interesting, but I don't see myself settling on just one thing.

Congrats on making the switch...you'll be surprised how quick and easy that "old" habit can just fall away if you let it.

Thank you so much for that information. Good points made. I appreciate it.

Yep - your tastes will definitely evolve over time.

My first juice was some wretched ersatz tobacco abomination, but I was so delirious that I could stop smoking that I looked past the taste. Then I got hooked up with some menthol which got me appreciating that it didn't have to taste like 'medicine' (go figure - I HATED menthol cigarettes).

I tried berries after that and loved each one progressively more. Then on to baked goods and life was good... real good. Tried the menthol and berries again and hated every last blessed on of them. Back to the banana breads and key lime pies and... now they sucked. Thank god I'd just discovered absinthe (that was the best, I was sure of it), which today, after progressing to more complex juices is revolting to me. Those first berry juices, though? Now I find them delicious.

    It's a capricious thing, taste.

Sure it's possible. I pretty much stuck with the first two flavors I tried for my first nine months. I recall what they tasted like back then, but I can't say I have the same (chemical garbage) opinion of them now.

A lot of it may depend on what people are expecting too. To the other extreme I really don't get the people who say they have tried 200 flavors and could only find two they liked. Maybe.

I think I got lucky... the first juice I tried was "Hawaiian sunset" from "RoarVapor" (its also where I got my starter kit) still order it! my second juice was "thug juice" from MTVapor. his prices and quality keep me going back for more and more!
do yourself a favor and try :Thug Juice: its freaking awesome! (grape, watermelon and a hint of menthol) I`m pretty sure Its his best selling juice. and like I said his prices cannot be beat!

My favorite was and still to this day is cinnamon roll from MBV.... and that is after 4 months. I have 15 to 20 other flavors in my inventory but still go back to my cinnamon roll!!

Gosh, yes! I just got my Cinnamon Roll from MBV and I am loving it so much! Best thing I've found so far. I think my taste buds are probably kind of trashed from all those years of smoking, but I can actually tell what Cinnamon Roll tastes like. The others I've tried so far, not so much.

The first flavor I remember is vermillion river Kentucky vanilla. I loved it and still love it, however I think part of the fun of vaping is getting to try different flavors. It becomes a hobby. Now I'm in for saving money so I bought a mod, a rda,and DIY juice. The benefit of DIY is you can try a lot of different flavors way cheaper that way so you don't get burned out on 1 flavor.... do you now where you can get a good peanut butter from
My first actual vape flavor (other than the cigalikes from gas stations, which were always disappointing to me) was peanut butter. And yeah. I'll still rock the peanut butter once in a while.
Favorite though is a good nana bread. Vaped out a RDA. Warm and delicious.

At first since my senses were dead from years of smoking, I was able to vape almost any flavor, but my tastes changed. After 2 months, things went very haywire and it was a real struggle to find something I liked.

However, there was this one special juice that I could always depend on...that I could turn to when all else failed. I still keep that juice around, even tho it is no longer my favorite.
