Finally getting in to RTAs after a few years of sub ohm tanks. So on to the question I have the TF-RDTA after a few tries I finally got it to wick right and not flood. However I accidently closed the juice flow control and did not realize it until the horrible burnt taste. I have since reopened the juice flow and it still taste burnt, is the cotton burnt? Should I rewick the coils? Clean off the whole base and dry burn it clean?

Thanks for reading any advice or suggestions are welcome.

I would, generally with cotton the moment you scorch it, it is done for. If burnt further you could have easily turned the cotton inside the coil itself into ash, leaving only the ends at the end of the coil remaining.
