haha yea i know it sounds bad that i don't know my own batteries. just got back into vaping after a few months. i just bought them based on some safety chart people linked here when i started but i know they are safe for my intended use.

i did try to vape it again and it had the same issue i will be recoiling it and see how it goes sadly my new mod will come in on monday thought it was coming in today but yea i too think it's the coil.
You know there is an issue.
Massage new coil, glow center out, No glowing legs.
Once set up, wick & prime, if you still notice a glowing coil,, Don't vape it.
Be safe..

Another possible cause would be if your coils are touching the top cap.I had a coil touching the cap once, and as soon as i hit the button, the coil was red almost instantly.

Not trying to be a smart aleck, but what kind of vaper are you that you don't know the the damn difference between AA and High power, High drain 18650's? :rolleyes:o_O:confused::facepalm:
I think his point was more the part where it says it takes 250 amps to start the car, not the part that says what kind of batteries they were.

Looks like he was also a 'Multiple ID Company/Unregistered Supplier". Probably a dealer for Sears DieHard Batteries, so the posts do make more sense. :D

Well I would have liked to have seen his post to know the reason it was deleted, hardly seemed the time for him to hawk products lol. You know how I like facts and he certainly brought that to the table regarding auto batteries;)

I saw it... something about a new mech he was selling. It ran on 250 AA cells wired in series....

You didn't miss much. It was one of those "Yes, you can jump start a car or motorcycle with some 18650s" followed by "No you can't without a 600A cold crank battery".

Edit: What Asbestos said, I forgot about the AA discussion thrown in just for yuks.

yeah I figured it was a rebuttal. And a fairly accurate one though my battery cold crank amps is half that haha. So the unregistered supplier reason was a good excuse to delete a rebuttal in someone's mind. Thanks for the info.
Update: Looks like someone missed his humor about " selling" a mechanical with 250 AA batteries in series.

I'm a bit confused.. lol.. so.. CCA is the amount of amps that a battery can put out for 30 seconds at zero degrees F.

Jumper boxes are measured in volts.. 12v. Etc.

So how do we know if a 18650 can start a car (or in this case a motorcycle) since we look at amps on them, and it's not always zero degrees?

I'm having a difficult time understanding the conversation. (I'm not mechanic, but have nothing better to do atm than learn something!)

I wasn't aware of the CCA rating being at 0 degrees though that's not the big factor in the discussion. A bunch of 18650s wired in series and parallel to give 12V and high amperage could crank a car same as a small power pack I have made to jump start a car. It doesn't have enough energy storage capacity to turn an engine over more than a couple of times whereas a big car battery has a lot of capacity and can do it many times. Did you know that the Tesla electric cars big battery packs are made up of a thousands of 18650 style custom batteries?

    Okay this makes sense..

And yes.. the cold in cold cranking amps, specifically addresses temperature since that affects, in winter, how much more it takes to turn your engine due to sluggish cold oil and the chemical reaction in the battery is also more sluggish (less reactive) in cold weather.. CCA means more to someone in Alaska than someone in Florida.

    Just wanted to add:

Lol yeah try that and good luck! If you have a truly dead battery that small amount of charge ain't gonna get it :D you did notice his engine was turning over quite well before he hooked his batteries up, looks like a joke to me
