Well I just got my MVP V2 in the mail today from 101vape.com today. I was crazy excited after opening the package and putting it all together. I decided to just throw my EVOD tank on there and start vaping away. After a few moments tinkering with it I noticed that when pressing both the P & U buttons it doesn't perform as the manual states it should. First off the manual states that I should hold them both for "2 seconds" and then a series of readings will pop up. Well it's no 2 seconds at all. As soon as I press both of them first the "ohms meter" displays and then the current voltage is next, and thats it. Which the manual states it should cycle threw "4" readings. And what is bothering me the most is no matter what voltage setting I put it on when I press both buttons to show my readings it steadily shows "U4.1" even though I have is set on something completely different. I'm starting to get frustrated and can't find any answers so far. Figured someone here could maybe help me out and let me know if what I received may have a defect. Please help!

There is no defect :) U4.1 is the remaining voltage of your battery (barely drained, 4.2 is full battery) to see your volts setting push and hold U only and after your puff counter displays it will show you your volts setting. Also remember you can set watts OR volts not both at the same time. Whichever you touch last (u-volts or p-watts) is the mode that you are functioning in.

Hope this helps!

Thanks CreepLady, you just lifted a load off my shoulders. Much appreciated and maybe I should of done a little more research on my part to troubleshoot it. With that said I felt the manual/pamphlet it came with would have the correct information regarding operation so downloading or watching a video really didn't cross my mind. For Katya, directly from the Innokin User Manual. itaste MVP 2.0
Ohms Meter & Battery Level Indicator & Puff Counter:
Hold both the "P" and "U" buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The screen will show a series of readings, the first being the resistance of the attached load (Rx.x, for example R2.2), the second being the battery voltage, the third being the number of puffs since the device was last turned off and the fourth being the last set volatge or wattage. If no load is attached the display will show "NON".

Sorry, some things obviously get lost in translation. When I press both buttons, I get the ohms reading and the remaining battery voltage (NOT the voltage I'm currently using). Right?

I have my MVP 2 in my hand right now, so if you have any more question, ask away.

I was gonna answer the same as everyone else! My MVP 2.0 doesn't show 4 readings just the 2.

Congrats on your purchase! I absolutely love my MVP - it was my first box mod and took a little getting used to (for me) when I first got it I styled used my itaste more but slowly I started switching over. I love I can use my igo-w on it as well as my Kayfun with no problems! If you do go that route just know it won't fire below .8ohms

I keep it at 1.0 and higher so I'm not pulling too much power from the battery.

Good luck :)

Sounds like we're showing the "outer limits" of our age..... ;)

Yeah, but then the 57 after the dice part pretty much shows me age too. But then being you are a Senior Member now, kind of gives you game away too. lmao.

The manual of the MVP does say that it will show 4 readings, but the manual is wrong. You're not the first to ask this question ;-)

What? Someone actually sends a manual with their mod??? That's like unheard of!!! To this day, I have never received a mod, atty, rba, ....... that came with a manual.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

P.S.: The cat bites!

You can only use one mode at a time, i.e. wattage (P) or Voltage (V).

When you hold down the top button, Puff counter is displayed and then the Power/WATTAGE settings. Set as desired but .5 increments only go up and round robins.

To set Volatge, hold down the bottom button. Wait until the Puff counter disappears and there is your Volatge, set as desired in .5 increments, up only/round robins back.

Welcome to ECF, and the MVP owners group!
