Not necessarily. I use thicker gauge 29 when using softer silver NR to resist breaking. For pure nickel NR, I use 32 gauge for easier twisting. Nickel is stiffer than silver so I find higher gauge nickel hard to twist.

I found it.. link is above this post. I had to edit bc my first posts were not for Pure Nickel ebay listings. There is a seller on ebay from Greece who wants about 7 something for 16 feet and the same exact thing is available from someone else in the USA for 8.44 with shipping for 100ft. Specs are the same.

32 gauge Pure Nickel wire ( non resistance wire )
Ni - 200 . Minimum 99% Pure Nickel.
Resistance- 0.85 ohm/ft 2.79 ohms/m
Wire Diameter- 0.008" / 0.2 mm
Wire Gauge- 32
Length- 100 ft / 30.5 m

Thank you guys for the help with your posts here!!!

Be careful on the mad Vapes pre made. My last order was junk and I went back and reviewed them that way. The ones they were selling were roughly 5 inches long (I'm not home to measure them). When I reordered they were more like 3 inches long total and not long enough to make coils using nr-r-nr and be able to attach them.
