Is pass-through vaping dangerous?

I ask this because I wrote an email to smok asking them why they did not include pass-through vaping on the m50 VW mod. I got a reply back from them. They said that they did not include pass-through vaping intentionally because it could be dangerous and they valued the safety of their customers. This is the 1st time I have ever heard of this. Anyone in here ever heard of passthrough vaping being dangerous?

For the record pass through is not the same as vape while charging.

I keep hearing Chinese companies claim this never heard the full explanation though. Yihi claims the same.

Afaik Evolv claims no such issue with their products so I don't know if it is board specific or a prudential precaution
