rounding third and heading home...
Not to upset the apple cart but the so called Authentic Zmax is a piece of junk. I can go online and buy a set of Ping knock off clubs for $200.00, which I know are junk or I can spend $800 on a set of real Ping Irons. You get what you pay for and lets be honest here we are talking about a $200.00 My cell phone cost over $500.00, how many of you are using smart phone clones? This is not a money issue but it's been turned into a I am better then you issue which is a joke considering all the money we spent on cigarettes.
unless you have owned a sigelei zmax i wouldn't be calling it junk. i have gone through many a mod(by choice) and the one i still own and is still working perfectly is my flattop v3. still looks like the day i bought it. it's easy to knock things based on price i 'll bet my cheap flipphone sends and receives calls as well as your expensive smartphone. don't tell me about all the other things yours can do, it is still a phone and making calls is main purpose. i agree that all this gear is still cheaper than cigarettes , but even the cheapest e-cig works if the users like it and it keeps them from smoking. you know, the best golfclubs in the world won't lower your golf score one shot- i know, because if price and golf clubs made any difference i should be shooting 59's regularly- trust me, i'm not.... but i do vape "junk" mods and haven't touched a cigarette in 3 years......

I currently own 2 Provaris. After waiting for the announcement of the P3 and it's specs. I decide to go another direction. Simply put, the P3 doesn't fill a need I don't already have filled. What amazes me is the fact that nobody can say anything remotely negative about Provari without somebody thinking they have to attack. Provari's quality and service speak for themselves. They are what they are. They are the best device for some segments of the market, but certainly not for all segments. No device can be all things to all people.

I guess what continues to intrigue me is that relatively large number of people who:

a: don't like what Provape is, or where they're going, and -
b: have absolutely no intention of buying one, and -
c: can quickly rattle off all their reasons for feeling the way they do, yet -

- continue to come into Provari threads to "discuss" stuff.

Conversely, similar thoughts NEVER occur to me. For instance, I can't stand Reos. They are absolutely worthless to me. I had one and quickly sold it off. That being said, I don't think they're bad mods, just bad for me. And the thought to go play in their sandbox has never once crossed my mind.

People like them. Excellent. Rob seems like a real nice guy and I'm glad they're in business. I just don't want another one.

Yet it seems like every day these threads get littered up with people who feel compelled to state their opinions opposing Provari. Do you REALLY THINK you're going to change someone's mind, if they're already set to liking something?

The only other possibility is that these people secretly all really want a Provari, and are simply upset that Provape didn't build their devices to specs that they feel are acceptable.

So which is it? Hope & Change or Pure Envy?

Moving on...

Hey! I dont think I once bashed Provari.. I bash attitudes ;) Its attitudes (on BOTH sides) that I dont like.. Wanna discuss the pros and cons, merits and pitfalls? Fine. Just dont be condescending doing it.

Not directed at you DP.. your post was a springboard :)

The zmax was this one: $39.58 Authentic Sigelei Zmax Mini Variable Voltage/Wattage Mod - 1*18350 / 510&eGo threading at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping made out of alumium.

Not this one: MINI ZMAX STAINLESS STEEL_ZMAX_vv/vw mod_SIGELEI Electronic Cigarette - Note the stainless steel.

Love how the clubs can't improve your game by even a stroke. You never been fit by a golf company for clubs made for your size, swing speed, and angle of attack. A hacker will never be nothing more then a hacker. I take the game seriously and I know clubs make a huge difference in scoring as does the golf ball.

Apparently, you mis-read what I wrote.

I never said 50 or 100 watts was the future of vaping (although there's a chance). I do think that +20 watts is. The average vaper can go to a B&M right now and buy pre-built coils that can be used at 26 watts. It has nothing to do with cloud chasing or building your own coils, but for some reason, you (and others) keep bringing that up.

Kanger, Aspire and many others will have dual and triple and quad coil heads to be used at over 20 watts (for more flavor and vapor) by years end. These coils will be mass produced and sold in every B&M (and online) around the world. They'll fit in tanks that folks already have, but you won't be able to use them on a Provari (and many other devices) to achieve the desired results. That's shortsighted, IMO, especially for a device that's been so long in the works.

The average vapor won't care about any of that. And the big thing you're overlooking is the more expensive the coils as in double, triple, and quad coils, the less popular they will be with the average vapor. Believe it or not the average vapor is still vaping on their first or second pv and could care less about the next big thing.

Most all forum readers keep forgetting WE are NOT the average vapor.

What?

I know the number of vapor's is increasing every day, but not that much. In order for that to be true, the number of new vapors in any given 6 month period would have to be equal to the total number of vapors. This cycle would have to repeat. It's mathematically impossible.

I know several vapors, none of which visit this forum (or any other), and they've all moved to their third (or more) device within the first 6 months. Granted, it's a small sample, but I doubt the "average" vapor uses a Blu for the first year of vaping. They move on either based on articles, websites, or B&M's.

It's getting harder and harder to keep up with the points here. The Provari is not made for niche sub-ohmers, it's made for the average vapor. But the average vapor sticks with their little ego's. The provari is not too expensive for those that want quality, but a $3 head is too expensive and won't sell, regardless of quality. The average vapor has no means to educate themselves on what's new, and most people on the internet are no longer the average person. Does that sum it up right?

I believe that provari isn't the blackberry, but the Iphone...

let me start by saying it isn't a bad thing.
the iphone is a top of the line smartphone that caters to the non-smartphone-techsavy-kind of person. It "just works" without all the added complexities that come with an android ecosystem. (90%of my friends have one and are really happy with it and have upgreaded every lease).
on the other side you have android with their huge array from trash phones to the top of the line, years ahead of iphones but are much more complex and not everyone can or want to take advantage of that.

we vapers here in the forums are more into this than the average vaper who uses clearomizers and such, and for those provari is the best, no need for more as it "just works"
provari as apple sat on their throne too long before they realized they now need to catch up to the technology as their competitors are getting more mainstream

still even if other devices are much more advanced than provari, their market is bigger than before as every day there are more vapers and just the minority go into the mechs or dna type of devices

I never liked provari for this reason, but I do respect them...
my first apv was a zmax v3 and it was amazing, much better looking and technology than a provari, but soon went the mech route

I must say that you all have made for quite a stimulating day for me. And as real life calls, I just want to thank you for the entertainment, the education, the banter and even for a little fun. Maybe, actually, just a touch more than "a little". :D

Have a great night, all! :toast:

Which one? ;)

Nope, can't touch my Kartos, honey pie. ALL MINE! :D

I actually think I have more cartos then you. A truck load from Ikenvape will arrive tomorrow. Hope the mailman has the bigger truck tomorrow.

Which Provari??? Not the girly one...... If the P3 comes out soon I'll make it my birthday present if not Christmas will work... I'll take a stab at the price for it. How does $299.00 sound? Just under the $300.

Ummm... Ok. Keep thinking that, Speed. ;) :D

Yeah on the IKVs! I've got a small truckload coming too.

And for the price? I'm going with $279.*

*DPLongo made me type that.

Talk about average Vapers ? 7 local b&m's around me that dead in high end mods all say their top sellers are egos and I clears , ce5's, pro tanks or cartos. On average 10% of their business is in rebuildables and mechs or dna's.

This is good info, Ca Ike. Truly.

This is my point exactly. And that % is dead on. 90% of vapors will vape with this kind of equipment. And if they ever want a good lasting pv are likely to get something like a Provari that will easlly work with the type of things that the 90% use.
