Judging from the response in the official thread I don't see Provape having any issues. The upgrade ability of the board design leaves a lot of feature additions open. I can see temp control as a viable future addition in an update among other stuff. From playing with a dna 40 temp feature the mod rarely went over 15watts except when boosting at the start so 20w doesn't seem like a big issue. Dr Farsalinos is supposedly planning a temp study soon and maybe Provape will use those results when working on their temp control

The end of your post sums up a company like BlackBerry..

Edit-by that, I mean you don't need a study to show that temperature control is the next gen. of being safe.

Being that it's a "new" thing, of course a study is needed. Provape isn't the type of company to just jump on the bandwagon of something, just because some other company started using it.

If used properly, perhaps.

But, If temp control is not stable or used improperly or fails because the device supporting it failed in its use.

Then who would that be like.

I rather like my device to work properly, all the time. Not just have WizBang Features.

Only time will tell for sure.

If provaris all just worked all of the time..... What then is the need for the warranty and much touted customer service?
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Because that is needed for even the finest products. You know that.

I only wish other manufacturers could/would do the same!

Glad to have you back!!!

Been having issues with tapatalk since my last update :p

My point of the question was exactly that....all devices experience problems. All the comments about wanting a device that just works all of the time are kind of silly, specially when the same person will fall back on the customer service argument later on.....:p

Better to fall back on customer service, than fall on nothing at all.

The only thing I can think of, that would cause Provaris to act different from each other, is the end user.
Person A might drop their Provari from a ladder, and Person B might drop theirs in a toilet...
Whatever those scenarios might cause the respective Provaris to do, other than operate normally, would be grounds for the warranty.
I see you point. If a product is so great, it shouldn't need a warranty...but these days, a warranty is a must-have. The salesmen of yesteryear have made warranties a necessity.
And having stellar customer service is not something to fault a company for.

Yes, good customer service is desirable and needed. My point was aimed at the other side.... About always working all the time. Any logical person knows that isn't true. A Bugatti Veyron, with a price tag over a million, has issues now and then. Of course Bugatti will fly out a specially trained repair crew when it does.

Ok?
So?
Provape doesn't claim that every device will work perfectly, every time.
They're saying that their devices simply WORK...as opposed to DNA/Evolv/China devices that are notorious for not working.

I get that it's new technology... but if they're all about safe vaping. They should have researched that..if many of us had the resources, it would have already been done...

I'm not talking about tech here... I'm talking about the need for it...

Wicks saturated, slightly dry, and then dry (keep in mind, there is NO airflow)

I don't need a study to tell me if nickel is safe...I love kanthal, but I'd love to get away from aluminum.. I have a nickel(all "crappy" metals-for jewelry) allergy, but I can vape ni-200 wire. . . I asked someone at a shop with one if he'd mind hanging out while I investigated that... about an hour of heavy vaping, nothing..I put nickel on my body, I break out immediately.

Dry hits have been known for some time..lol, and it's common sense, that if there is anything hazardous that we inhale vaping, it is definitely that.

A fancy menu(did they change how you swap from vv-vw?) with a bunch of "fluff," extension tubes isn't innovation.

I'm not saying it's a bad mod, and I hate provape. I'm replying to the OP, because someone decided to add more to the discussion. Just because I'll never buy one, doesn't mean anything...it isn't my style anymore..but I seem to be slowly going down in the amount of power I need..

But if they didn't change the vv-vw..I hate the menu still..:)

And Provape will fix it too.

Now how about those DNA devices bought over 2 years ago. Would the board maker fix those?

Fall off horse, get back on, rinse, and repeat.

I think Provari, Provape, or whatever else we could call them is:

Not that they are in danger of becoming blackberry at all, But, More like they are becoming more and more like Apple!

Maybe I need to look at buying some stock in the company.

Why have a warranty? How silly is that question? I guess it's best to spend your money with no recourse. Provape has 3 technicians for repairs, if that doesn't tell you how good they are nothing will. This all coming from someone who owns a clone with all the manufactures logos on it and of course a fake serial number. Now attack the warranty and customer service.

Pray they don't become like apple. Just what we need, a company to tell us what's needed and how we should vape
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Oh you don't have to worry about Provape telling you how to vape.

You could, and I suspect, already made your own choice in that regard.

I will say this in closing though...

Provape has positioned itself for the long and difficult road ahead of this thing called Vaping.
