Is So Cal behind?

Why are there only 2 shops in So Cal dedicated to vaping? Or more specifically, close to the OC. One being E Cig City in Laguna and Vape Revolution in Cerritos? I try to find juice and accessories at smoke shops in central OC and no one carries anything of quaiity. When I do go into a smoke shop and ask about them, they seem to be threatened by the whole vape thing. Is it just me or have any other So Cal peeps have the same experience?

I haven't done enough exploring, myself. I'm pretty sure there are more than just the two, but they aren't well advertised. There appear to be quite a few on VaporSearchUSA, but I'm not sure which of these have storefronts and which are just internet based companies. But it does seem to me like vaping isn't as big here as it should be.

There is another Vapure in Escondido and two more are planned in the area, Santee and Chula Vista.

Head shops in OC and Norcal are focused on other active ingredients. It's better to avoid them and go online if you want nicotine vaping gear. Just say'in, dude.

I hear there's a place in westwood and san gabriel. I've been to the place in cerritos. With the high sales tax in CA, we're probably better off ordering online.

I don't think CA is any different than any other state. There just aren't alot of brick and mortar stores that sell ecig supplies period.
I did run into a vender at a shopping mall last month. They were out in the middle of the mall, but atleast they are out there. I think as time goes by, more and more will start to appear.

I'm up in the high desert and there is NOTHING remotely close to me in brick and mortar. I order everything online. I do want to go down and visit the Cerritos store but it's 3 hours in and 3 hours home and with gas today...

I've been wanting to go down to the LA Vapers meet in Glendora, same travel time, about the same mileage so that too is on the back burner with gas so high.

I've been cig free for about 15 months now and if it wasn't for forums and the vape tv streams I might never have made it this far.

I would love to find a meet further out my way. There must be more vapers up here or close to me than just me.

I haven't found any brick and mortar store in so cal and everything I get is online...yeah gas prices and the tax stops me from roaming too much. Travel enough to get to work.
I met one vaper (short lived, he went back to smoking) and that's it. Would love to meet more. But converted quite a few.

I live in the most populated county in FL per capita and there is not 1 B7M store. As far as I can tell there are only like 3 or 4 in the whole state. If somebody doesn't hurry up and open one here soon Im going to hit it hard. This area is begging for one.

I've heard they're pricey, but I believe they have a lounge, which is cool. I mentioned this in another thread, but I haven't ever actually seen anyone vaping in public! I'm surprised by that. I have a few friends who started vaping with me, but that's it.

I've not seen anyone else vaping in public either, although some people have shown interest when I was vaping my 808 gas station model.

I tried to find the local e-cig place here in Riverside that came up on VaporSearchUSA. It's called Vapor Cig. No e-cig stuff to be found -- it was the office of a CPA firm.
