Is something going on with the 808?

I saw today that Vapornine and Altsmoke are clearing out 808 kits.
Is there a reason, or is this coincidence?
Is the 808 being discontinued, modified or otherwise becoming unavailable?
Is this just because the 510 is more popular?
I am building several mods on 808 connectors, so I'm just curious.
Anyone have the inside scoop (if there is one)?
Am I just paranoid? Certainly possible.

Do you mean 808 as KR808? They are still the same connector and threads basically as the 901.

Brandon, I realize this. I just meant that a couple of places are clearing them out.
I don't know if something new/different is coming out.

There is nothing new coming as far as it goes, and the 808 still has the best cartomizer available, (the premium / ultra ones)

The vendors are just deciding to sell eGo type battery mods at the moment as that's where the money is.

I think you are mistaken about VaporNine. The Kr8 is all that Ben has ever carried. He calls it the "Nebula." His new "Defender" (similar to CigEasy's Elegant) is just a "fat batt" (what I call eGO-like) battery for Kr8 cartos; and he markets the Sparkplug as a mod to use with those cartos.
