Is Teflon Tape safe for cart mods?

Just tinkering with some CE2 mod ideas.

Does anyone know if the Teflon tape like plumbers use in pipe threads would be safe to use in a PV? Yes, parts of it might come in contact with the e-liquid.

I'm also curious about other pipe-dope or sealant type stuff that are safe and not very likely to mess with the flavor.

I can't tell you definitively, but ptfe (teflon) is typically pretty inert and relatively chemical resistant. I would assume it would be safe. No idea on the other pipe sealants.

I use Teflon tape on water lines all the time. Some pipe doped are for water but I couldn't say for sure. Especially with what the juice may do to them.
