I'm new to vaping in general and bought my setup online along with some ejuices. I got blueberry, grape, juicy peach and pineapple peach blast. All of them are clear except for the grape which is a yellowish tint, and they are all 50/50 and all have Meh ok flavor. The blueberry tastes very similar to the grape. Anyway I went to a local vape shop and picked up some of the ejuice the person at the counter recommended which was fruitopia and chocolate mint cookie and the fruitopia is a bright orange and the chocolate mint cookie is a dark amber color and man the taste is amazing compared to the ones I got online. Does the color even matter? Meaning does it tell me that it has better flavor? I also heard that vape shops have better ejuices as compared to online only a bit more pricey.

juices can be clear, yellow, brown dark these ive seen often

juices tend to get darker with steeping this is also normal

the problem comes in when vendor's use artificial ways like food coloring or other methods to manipulate the color of a juice
for the purpose of making them more attractive to buyers

when I see bright or attractive colors I become a little concerned

I can only impart my experience upon you, and it's told me that juice color matters not at all. I've had two of the "exact" same bottles (same nig level, size, ratio, flavor and brand) be completely different colors. I wasn't happy with it, but couldn't tell the difference. I've only tried a few online juice brands (esmokez and rocky mountain.vapor), but in person is ALWAYS better imho. The juice shop I to invents a new.flavor.practically every time I'm in there (strawberry bananna, orange choclate, and cherry limeade most.rwcently) . I go once a week and they actually expect me. It's nice to be welcomed somewhere. The other.advantage to.the brick and.mortar shop is.that I know.EXACTLY what is going into.my juice. They'll even mix your pg/vg however you want.

No expert here, but I think the color has more to do with type of flavors and vendor. Now some juices darken with age. I have a clove that was light brown and has been steeping for about 3 weeks. It has taken on a richer brown. I've yet to find a grape that tastes like what I think grape is. I really want a grape kool aid. Let your supply steep. Take tops off for 24 hours and place in cool dark place. Put tops on and shake daily. You can also take the tops off for 15-20 minutes each day and shake them. Flavors will mature. There are several vendors here that offer some fantastic flavors and most aren't clear.

No, color doesn't mean much. As the previous posters said, as a juice ages the flavors may come through a little (or a lot) more, and they will typically darken, especially depending on your method of storage. It is quite likely, although not necessarily true, that the juices you tried in the vape shop have been very well steeped (or aged) as they tend to sit around a lot longer than a juice that is freshly mixed to order by an online vendor.

I've never heard that vape shops have better juices than online vendors, quite the contrary. Then again it did take me awhile to find the "right" online juice vendor, and I don't have any vape shops near me to try. Online vendors are not all equal. Some don't mix to order, but rather have larger batches that they bottle your order from. I don't think one is necessarily better than the other, but I certainly have a preference. ;)

It look me a few months and over 2 dozen online orders before I found the vendor(s) that make juice that suits me. If you want to save money by ordering online, you might want to be prepared to have to shop around quite a bit before you find what you like.

One more thing regarding color, I personally don't order anything that has artificial colors in it. They don't add anything to the quality of the juice, and it's one less ingredient I have to worry about later down the road. That said, natural flavorings will add color to the nicotine base. I have a black raspberry that arrives a very light pink and turns a lovely shade of light red after a few months, even stored in glass in a cool place.

I think I'm going to stick with my local vape shop, it was my first time there and the ejuice is fantastic. They have so many and yes the colors do catch a person's eye but what's cool is that they actually let me taste test some of their popular flavors. It is a bit pricey imo at $10 for a 10ml bottle though but I do have to say that compared to what I got online it just beats it. Maybe I just have to do some shopping around and see what other sources have to offer. Although I wouldn't mind paying a little extra locally knowing they have excellent ejuice and I can also try it before I buy it lol they have one called Lemon something I don't remember but it tastes exactly like sprite!

"I've never heard that vape shops have better juices than online vendors, quite the contrary"

online vendors are local vendors where they are located

unfortunately for me the local places here have crappy juice so I order online
but if I lived close to the places I liked they would be local

Not necessarily, but possibly, so good point. None of the vendors I order from have storefronts though. :)
