What's so good about the ego Twist by the way? I saw my local vape guy just get them in. Still extremely new to this whole gaping business. I just got the kit with a CE4 cartomizer and love it. Works so well but saw a Ego Twist thread and now I'm even more curious.

The Twist is a variable voltage battery. You can set the voltage of it to have better vaping and to find a "sweet" spot for your vape. I have tried it and works great, just don't have my own yet. Someone else will be along to give you more info about it that has used it more than me:)

Ahhhh thanks. I might just take a look at it tomorrow when I head down to my local Vaping store. I'm guessing the higher the voltage the more juice is burned providing a thicker smoke?

That's what I did, tried one at my vaping HQ. I know the vape tasted better, and I do think there was more vapor with it, it was a warmer vape, almost like a real cig, at least, to me.

Welcome to ECF pdude and congrats on making the choice to switch.

You'll find tons of opinions on everything here ;) Having said that I started vaping on Ego T's and used them for over a year before I decided to move to big battery PV's. It's a good learning curve I think, be advised you cannot hit on them like you do a cigarette or you will definitely flood it. Long slow draws work best.

Then once you have it down, moving to something else will be easy. I don't do clearos at all, have not yet convinced myself they are better as I have never had problems with my carto tanks and I like dripping these days. Used to be a hassle to drip but now I'm liking it ;)

Everyone winds up with their favorite items to use.

What kit would you prefer looking back? A no fuss ecig would be nice. I may buy another, what ya got?

Sorry p dude, but china doesn't make a "no fuss e-cig". I just kept adding on to my Joyetech ego-c. 1000mah batteries, more charging cables, wall adapters, drip tip, atomizer, cartimizer,Vision clearomizer[long and short wicks]....dont buy ce4 by MICROCIG....and im vaping 4th day right now with a Kanger T2 clearomizer.....that i may like the best. I think the only way you will know what you like is by trying different things.....its going to cost money in the beginning but, in the long run your going to save money and your health. Also, learn to make your own juice, its easy, fun, and you will save tons of money.

Use the atomizer spike to punch it and then fill it with a syringe. Get the syringe from your local pharmacy in the largest gauge they have. Probably an 18 or 21. Cost about 50 cents.

I think you might be thinking opposite when it comes to needle size- higher number is smaller. 12 gauge would have an outside diameter (OD) of about 2.7 mm while 19 gauge is about 1 mm OD.

I've been reading a lot of suggestions about picking up some Clearomizers. Any recommendations on where to pick some up that'll fit the EGO C? I googled "ego c clearomizer" and got some shopping results, but not sure if they'll fit correctly.

Anything with EGO or 510 threads will fit your Ego battery. Check on ECF for a list of vendors. Ive ordered twice from vaporcigzz and ecblends for juice. But ive never had a problem with any of a dozen ive ordered from. Heck, you could always come on Ecf an write a negative review.

Hey, Digame - The two pharmacies I visited had an 18 the other had a 21. Pharmacists in both places laughed and said "you are not sticking something that big in my arm. Why do you need it?"
Told them and showed them my set up. One pharmacy gave me one and the other sold me two for for 45 cents each.
The one I got from a Vaping company was a larger gauge (14 I think) but it broke quickly. Still have two out of three I got in the wrapper. The first one is till going strong.

The ego c is fantastic honestly. Even 10 months after buying it and owning many upon many different types of batteries and heads, I still prefer my egoC head unit minus the battery and use it currently with my Vmax. Works fine, easily quickly cleaned for an different flavor and keeps things easy.
Can't go wrong. In the end no matter how much you spend as long as whatever it is you use keeps you happy and content it doesn't matter.
