Is the Kayfun V4 by Tobeco the best clone?

Tried out the subtank which I was set on, hated it, made mouth hits extremely hard, thinking of getting this since I heard it was good for mouth hits, but I am not sure if its the best clone, I can get it for 20 dollars so it seems really well built for that.

Also are those ok if I don't wanna build myself yet? I need an ohm reader anyways I suspect unless the istick30 has a good one, still probably best to have it right?

Tired of my Smoktech Aro 2 and Protank 2, both leak, gurgle, no matter what, I use mostly VG so I am getting burnt hits occasionally also, want to avoid those...

I have one, and mine has been perfect.

You will need to build it though or have someone do it for you as there are no pre-built coils for it like the Subtank has.

Yes, you should use an ohm meter.

The k 4 isn't the best at wicking max vg though. I'm able to use 70vg in mine, but some have trouble with that.

My Tobeco K4 is working really well with 80pg/20vg. VapeNW has them on sale for $19.99 and they ship really quick. I ordered mine on Saturday and it arrived USPS at my door on Monday, all the way across the country.

Could you share your build for others? Some people have been upset enough to sell their authentics, too.

I have no e liquid higher than 70 vg so I have no idea if my build could do max vg. However, I was surprised so many were having trouble with 70 as that's all I've ever had in mine.

And btw, my own Tobeco K4 is far from perfect... Leeks like crazy. Rebuilt a number of times, did everything that was suggested, nothing helps.
I have an authentic oring spare kit on the way and will replace all and report how it goes.

Buying a K4 clone is a lottery I would not recommend to a newbie.

My Tobeco has a machining error that makes it a bit challenging.

Exactly, and it's super easy to build on and pretty inexpensive. You'll def need to close he AFC was down to get a mouth hit though.

I have to cover the air holes and suck through the mouthpeice occasionally with 80% VG as well because I just vape too often I suppose.

10% water is correct to eleviate this. Ive always heard use distilled water, but I never think about buying it. Right or wrong, I just get some out of the faucett.

I've had/have the Tobeco, EHPro, and Infinite. The only one with no issues was the Infinite. I did get the replacement drip tip screw with the flat sides that fixed the problem with the EHP one.

I have 3 Tobeco V4's. All work perfectly with my 50/50 juice. Still running original parts for over a month now. Rewick when needed and good to go.

My V4 is working really well. Once it started leaking out the air holes, but I fixed that by taking it apart, putting a light coat of PG juice on the o-rings, and reassembling carefully. I think a dry o-ring twisted a little and caused some level of vacuum leak in the tank that allowed oversaturation of the wick. It's fine now.

The problem started after I took apart the bottom cap and the juice control just to see how it all worked together. I think the #16 o-ring wasn't sealing. I'd stick it in my jeans pocket and the warmth made the juice expand and over-saturate the wick. Then, the excess leaked out the air holes and I'd start to vape and get juice on my hands.
