Is the ProVari really worth it?

I've never had any airflow problems with my two Provari's. I've used a variety of cartotanks, Kanger Protanks, innokin iClear 30, Vision Vivi Nova, and AGA-T2 rba's.

The Ego-threaded clearomizers (Mini Protank, Kanger Evod, Innokin iTaste 16) will require a 510-ego adaptor to work on a Provari. The Provari uses a 510 thread connector, as most of the bigger mods use.

I have an iTaste MVP that refuses to fire a cartotank; fires clearomizers just fine, so that's what I use with it. It would be nice to use my cartotanks on it though.

Personally I think people are spending too much time on fasttech if they think the provari is expensive.

they would be the units i take to work everyday. i am in and out of a truck all day. The provari would be the unit i use at home.

should be the other way around. just the other day one got run over by a truck driver. he got out picked it up, wiped the dirt off and kept vaping.

Sorry to sound like such a newb here. but from what i am seeing from looking at pics of a ProTank 2.... it looks likes it is good to go right out of the box. I see the slots cut into the base.

The ego's work well for me and because the are inexpensive,they would be the units i take to work everyday. i am in and out of a truck all day. The provari would be the unit i use at home.

My mini Provari is my go-to out-and-about mod. It's built to take hard treatment and abuse, not that I intentionally do that. It has fallen out of my car several times and hit the driveway when I get out and forgot that it was on my lap, no harm no foul. There are stories of them falling one story off of a ledge onto concrete, falling from a motorcycle on a highway, run over by a truck, being lost in a river and found, dumped in a swimming pool, and surviving an entire wash cycle in a washing machine. The only encounter where a Provari got the short end of the fight was with a lawn mower - you should have seen the blade.

heck they have even been dumped out second floor windows and barely got scratched lol. that right there is worth every penny. my boss said to me after the second tile at work cracked when i dropped it, if i do it again im paying for the repairs

If I were a construction worker, there would be a Provari or a well built Mech in my tool belt. No way I would have such an easily to break Mod.

A Provari is not a show poney...its a work horse.

Do you wish to be talked INTO it, or out of it...

You said you get almost the exact same performance out of your iTaste, so I'm guessing you've vaped a Provari. If so, and your iTaste gives you (almost) the same performance (at a fraction of the price), why are you considering a Provari? And do you know how long your iTaste will last? If and when you replace it a few times, how's the fraction of the price going to start looking?

Last question... have you read other similar threads to yours here on ECF? I highly recommend that you do.

While walking, I dropped my first one on the concrete side walk in front of my house. It would never charge again. Try that with yours. Hold it up about three to four feet and drop it on concrete. Get back to me when you do.

You left out the most important part. Try that with a Provari and 9 times out of 10 the Provari will work without a hitch. And for that 1/10 chance that it stops working, you can still send it in to Provape for repairs. Try doing that with an MVP and Innokin.

If you like one button VV operating systems. I bought a cheaper PV to see if the Provari would be up my alley or not. I HATED one-button operation system with a passion, still do. That mod never gets any use at all. For months there was a 18650 battery that was missing in it I just completely and utterly forgot about.

I change my voltage a lot when I drive. This was the biggest issue for me. With my VAMO I can change volts up or down without looking, but that's not really so easy with a one button operation system.

Now, if Provape comes out with a mod that has a similar operating system to a VAMO, and the same warranty I might consider it but until then I'm good.

There are some Chinese APVs out there that will last a year or two: as long as a Provari under available warranties. My first one did and I expect my current Chinese VV/VW rig will last well over a year or two. On the slim chance my current Chinese-made APV doesn't last out the year I won't be able to get it repaired but I can certainly afford to replace it three times or more for the price of a Provari.

The Provari is expensive because it is desirable and it's desirable because it is expensive.
