Having read none of the comments, this is just my :2c:

I started vaping with cig-alikes, then egos, then an SVD (which didn't last a year), then an MVP 2. I got sick of things not lasting, and decided that since I'd already spent at least the cost of the Provari on all those other devices, and the Provari had a great warranty and repair costs, I would try it while I could afford it. I didn't think it would actually vape any better than my MVP 2 (which was the best I had before), but it actually did seem to perform better. Even my non-vaping husband could tell a difference. No vape quality drop off as the battery gets low, no issues firing anything, it's built like a tank, etc. Worth every penny, in my opinion. I still like my MVP 2 and use it most days, but my Provari is my favorite. It isn't a status thing, it's about having a device that I know is going to work and last.

That seems to be saying that the vape quality drops off as the battery gets low on the MVP2.

I think if I was a heavier vaper who constantly broke my devices, I would have gotten a Provari by now. But I am a fairly light vaper (2-3ml on average per day), most of my devices still work even though I've dropped it a few times, and I am not constantly vaping nor do I need big battery life. I am trying to get into rebuildables but it is a little more work than I'd like to put into for a vape. I like my fill and go tanks and clearos. I don't have a MVP2 but I do have the first MVP as well as 2 iTaste VV3, which I believe also has the 'better' chip. I love my VV3s and they are my primary devices, as I prefer the small, lightweight form factor and they are easier to put in my purse and look 'sleeker' since I have small girly hands and don't exactly like the look of a big mod, especially in public. That being said, I do want a higher powered device and something to put my new Kayfun on (if I can manage to build a decent coil... we'll see), and I feel like if I finally buy an expensive device, I will stop trying to buy more stuff because the costs are racking up!!

Unless there is a better option... I dunno... I'm not exactly a huge fan of the aesthetics of the Provari (I will prob get the mini if I do) and I don't need VW and high amps or whatever, but I guess I am just very undecided because I wish there was something LIKE the Provari but a lot smaller or looked different.

I find it ironic how some Provari testimonials rave about what a reliable solid mod it is, how they can hammer a nail with it; yet are afraid of taking it outside of their house.

I would think if the Provari was built for the harsh conditions of the real world, that'd be the mod you took out to brave those conditions, not the cheaper one that breaks easier. It'd be the main reason for owning one no? To actually use it right? lol

Not making a comment about the device, just it's ironic use in the hands of some owners.

Like the guy who owns two MVP's and a Provari. Paraphrasing here, but it was something like:

- "The MVP's aren't as good as the Provari, but I vape those all day at work and when out and about. The Provari is my weekend at home mod."

Seems silly to me. There are much more intricate and gorgeous mods out there to collect and baby at home, saving for a treat on the weekends whist laid back in a recliner chair IMO. Alas, to each their own.. I guess.

Both My Provaris are my all day vapes...I purchased them because I know that they can handle anything and IF they break I can have them repaired unlike other mods. My only fear is theft, but since I rarely put my vape down unless it is in the cup holder in the car or in a pocket or purse that is a minor one.

I think most people who don't take it out are afraid of loss or theft,,,,,

to me, the convenience of taking it outweighs that risk, and I take mine everywhere.

Why do you disagree i love the thing and it works great and is backed by a great company and customer service would like to hear your thoughts on why you dislike the lavatube 2.5.

I have owned 3 original lavatubes and 2 lavatube V2.0s. I was a loyal volcano customer for a year, then I bought a provari last march. IMO there isn't any valid comparison between a provari and a lavatube. In quality of build, vape quality, or the feel of it when you hold it in your hand. I knew the second I put my hand around it and held it I was holding a product of exceptional quality, and then I vaped on it and I was sold. Just a smooth consistent vape. I have had that v2 provari for a year now and for 8 months that was pretty much the only device I used, my pretty gold lavatube set on my desk for weeks on end receiving no attention from me. That's how much better the provari is to ME.

My provaris go to work everyday with me in a machine shop with a concrete floor which they have had occasion to meet quite abruptly. I no longer worry about my provari but the topper. My first provari has taken the trip to work everyday for the last year and still looks and vapes as well as it did the day I received it. Can't say that about any other device I have owned.

I won't ever consider buying a Provari until they offer variable wattage with RMS settings. Nuff said!

I like vaping.... and I like 4 wheel drive vehicles.

The Jeep wrangler Rubicon is undeniably the best 4x4 vehicle ever made. Its the master of all 4x4s.
The Provari seems to be the considered The master of vaping devices...

It does. Although the pulse frequency of the MVP is on par with the Provari, its voltage regulation is not as precise as the Provari's. The MVP's output begins to drop off as the battery reaches its "yellow indicator" when you press the fire button.

On the other hand, your last puff on a Provari will be as good as your first.

I received the black and red mini last week. I have two MVP2's, and a vv3 already but with some of the stuff I have been reading about taxes etc, I wanted something I could jsut replace the batteries in when they die. My gear would probably last me a year or more, but I wanted insurance that I could still vape if I still want to by then.

Was it worth the money? That is up for everyone to decide for themselves. I was wanting a ZNA pretty bad, but got tired of trying to get one. I am enjoying the small size of the Provari, and the vape is very nice coming off of it. For me, it is a little better than the mvp, but not by a whole lot. I go on week long ike tours during the summer, and those will be on those trips. Not because of durability but because if something happens to them I am only out $40 each. Plus I won't have to carry a charger and spare batteries.

I received my bottom cap extension today and it is still small with the cap on. Much smaller than I had expected actually. I don't think I will go with the Tatroe ring to go to 18650 mode, but it is nice that it's an option.

Interesting your choice of words is: seems

At one time cartomizers were considered the 'state of the art' in toppers. Not so much anymore.
Jeep is actually going to be offering a Diesel engine for the Rubicon in the near future...
Will Provari create a variable wattage device.....or will it become the Yaris of vapeing

ok Just don't get it. I don't own one, but they "look" like great machines. Perhaps one day, but I believe my next move is the 134 as I find it interesting to look at.

What I don't get is why do people hate them....by all accounts they work extremely well. I don't have an interest in Mods or mechs (whatever) that leaves the Provari as the best. So people that have them love them, people that don't put them down (OK not ALL people) so why the immense dislike? Or has this been discussed??

How the hell is provape still selling the things?
Ummmm...because it always works?

Because it's....reliable....dependable....consistant....durable....and has a smoother vape than the other devices you own?

Maybe because its Made in the USA?

Because it can be repaired for as long as you want to use it?

No long waiting list or out-of-stock notices. Order your custom Provari and receive it within a weeks time?

Because you've always wanted to be a part of an exclusive secret cult known as the ProVarinati?
