I wont buy one but can see why people do. alot of people dont need or want a 30watt mod and honestly I dont see the big deal with watts, I have a vv/vw mod and keep in VV mode. Its takes like 1 second to adjust the thing to my vape preference (if that)

So the provari has a good warranty and can be repaired for life, well built (according to users), good chip, etc... for someone that is only going to use attys 1.2ohm+ and doesnt want to blow massive clouds , the provari would be a good device to have.

Ummm ProVarinati?

A few months ago a few Provari owners who posted in the Provari sub-forum created a small social group. The inside joke was to call ourselves the ProVarinati (tongue-in-cheek reference to the cult-group Illuminati), because many Provari haters often called Provari owners a cult because we defended ourselves so religiously. We have fun creating insignias to use in our signatures. We are not an exclusive group and we don't really take ourselves that seriously. The group has grown to about 80 strong.

Other than the USA made and well built/lasts forever, warranty, makes you super cool, etc. going on for it, does it truly provide a better vape or is it just some kind of placebo? Does the better chip really provide a noticeable difference in the mouth feel of a hit?

To me the vape quality on the provari was very noticable to me compared to the V2.0 Lavatube I had previously.

If there were ever a more loaded question on these boards...

LOL

In all seriousness, it all depends on what you are looking for, imho. If you want something that looks like one of your relatives could have carried it through 'Nam, had said relative tell you stories about it having stopped a sniper round (and that story was told to justify the dent)... Had the story expounded upon to tell that it had made it through the digestive tract of Moby ...., and ProVape had still honored the warranty (since it had been strictly fed AW batteries), prior to being passed down to him, before being passed down to you... And you manage to avoid getting one that looks like the latest batch (which resemble gold plated sex toys)... It might be exactly what you are looking for.

I, for one, prefer my mod battery to get geeky references to a lightsaber than threats to be dragged into HR for toting around a dildo (despite it being gilded), at least for the time being.

One day Bad I shall submit an application lol. I just held one for the 1st time this week...damn solid. I want my 134 first (just can't get past that look) and a local B & M may start selling them this summer. Tough in Canada

If you like the look of the 134 there's a 134 styled mech clone version on ft too, - actually two versions; one for $30 and one for $40.

I can put the same cartotank on any of my three Provari's or MVP and get the same smooth vape. Put it on my Smoktech mini ZMax, Smoktech VV Gripper, or Segelei/Ovale V8 VV Gripper at the same voltage and the vape seems harsh and hot, requiring the voltage to be turned down by at least a volt or two to get anywhere near a similar vape experience.

This is the difference between an 800 Hz chip and a 33.3 Hz chip.

Some people may interpret the warmer/hotter vape as "a harder hit" and actually like it. I beg to differ. There are others who can't tell the difference between the two chips. Fact is, there are many who can tell the difference and prefer the higher quality chip.

Just wondering if it's worth the $200 plus I'm going to spend on it, and if so, mini or not? Also if it's more of a status thing, or if it really is that amazing? I'm using the SmokTech SiD right now with a protank 2. I'd like to get the provari with an Aspire Nautilus. Just wonder if it's worth all that moola. :)

Its worth every penny:)

To quote Bob Newhart, "That would be me".

Don't have one yet, but seriously considering it.

Using anything under 2ohms on a Provari invalidates the warranty as its being used outside the parameters it was designed for.

Its also dangerous because the battery is draining at a much higher rate than was originally intended.

If you want ZOMG MASSIVE CLOUDS buy a fog machine and a funnel.

2 ohms seriouly?

Seriously. Provape does not recommend using low resistance atties in conjunction with a Provari. They were never designed to handle the abuse sub-ohmers are putting them through and neither were the batteries.

Low resistance atties were designed to be used with 808, 901 and ego batteries with a maximum charge of 4.2 volts.

People who are trying to use them at 5 and 6 volts are taking a huge risk for the reasons I outlined above.

If youre going to insist on vaping at 30 watts make sure youre winding you own coils, are expert on the subject and have the proper equipment.

If not, its an accident waiting to happen.

If a IMR battery is rated for 10amp continous and 18burst vaping a 1.2ohm coil at 5v would give you 4.16amps. Dont see how that is outside it parameters?
