Electro Vapors is shipping for $7.99 - I have bought my 510, juice, attys and cartomizers there. Awesome service, great prices, great products, very fast shipping. I have bought from these guys 3 times now. Unless I'm radically changing my setup (I love the 510/1.8LR Carto combo and 5V USB Passthrough/Regular 510 Carto), I will continually order from these guys

I've also ordered juice from juicy clear. Products have not arrived yet, but shipping was only $5

Both shipping prices were for Express post.

If you order over $100 @ evapers in ontario the shipping is free. Haven't payed shipping there yet, dunno it that's good or bad. (I have a bad habit of buying in bulk) Depends on what you want to spend. Coupon code "interac"

edit: they ship expedited, pretty quick for can post 3-5 days

Just cheked out electro vapors, their shipping has been increased and when you consider their prices are over 50% higher than most US suppliers, plus they slap on taxes ( I suppose ). You really paying way over the odds, check out madvapes $25 min shipping so I just fill my cart till the shipping increases then remove the last item and ship it.

Since you're in Toronto you could also go to one of the get-togethers that happen once every month at this restaurant in Richmond Hill. People have tons of free samples you can try, some even give away small bottles or even big bottles if they're not crazy about the flavour. I know Rob from Vapables.com goes to the GTA meets so you could check out and contact vapables.com beforehand and let him know what you want, then you can do the transaction with him at the get-together. Stay tuned on the Canada sub-forum for notification on the next meet-up.

I live downtown and don't have a car so I have to take transit over to Richmond Hill. Takes a long time to get there but it's totally worth it.

EDIT: Sorry, at first I thought you were just talking about getting nic juice. If you're looking for hardware I forgot to mention Jack and Rob (not the same Rob from Vapables) from HappyVaper.com also go to the meetups. Contact them beforehand if you need anything from them and they'll meet you there.

I don't get why some people seem to want to nickel-and-dime our Canadian suppliers for every last penny in savings.

Shipping from Happy Vaper & Evapers has always been super reasonable & incredibly fast. $7 to $8. I just took a look at Electro Vapors too in Alberta - their shipping is perfectly fine! $9, flat rate - no matter how large your order is. That's exceptionally good.

U.S. shipping is slightly lower in some cases because they offer much slower postal service than Canada Post does, with "tracking" that almost never actually works (Canada Post offers working tracking). Not exactly a wonderful tradeoff, and we're not talking about huge differences monetarily either. Plus if a Canadian orders from the States, it's going to take a fair sight longer to arrive than if they had ordered from a Canadian supplier. Can't stress this enough folks: convenience has value.

So yeah...in my opinion, most (not all, but most) of our Canadian suppliers offer wonderful shipping prices & super-speedy service. They should be commended.

---

Side note: hotone, UvapeIt totally screwed over one of our fellow vapers (Victor Frankenstein here on the forum) a while back, last summer. To the tune of about $100 (!!!). And they weren't apologetic about it. They basically said "not our problem." I wouldn't advise ordering anything from them, even if shipping was free.

I was just ordering some juice from nicfitnation. $8 anywhere in canada. and being he lives so close probably take 2 days to get here. works for me. my order from happyvapers was here at my door in 19hrs, few days from evaper.... and am waiting for an order from california (bought something here from classifieds). I write an email with a question and all 3 of the suppliers I have dealt with respond fast... even when I am ranting and complaining haha (says the guy that ordered an rc car body from germany last night haha). customer service means a lot to me. and if you have to return a defective item or something like that... shipping back and forth gets time consuming.

Canadian postage fees are frustrating to say the least. Just placed an order from a company in California:

First-Class Mail International Package - $3.79

and it will be here in a week from my previous experience. Did I mention they don't charge HST?? :)

Canada Post offers options in this price range also. Same as from the US 1st class they will take 7 or more days, and are not tracked and not insured.

You could request the stamp and a prayer service from your Canadian supplier, but it’s not often a customer wants to wait that long and accept full risk of the package not arriving. We don't recommend it.

Technically HST (or GST) should be charged on import to the country, along with a small $5.00 brokerage fee. If you can get it through without, all the power to you. It’s unfortunate that we have a taxation system that makes our own companies uncompetitive sometimes, I’m sure every supplier would love to not have to charge you the tax.

One advantage in the Canadian market is all the retailers here are offering shipping at a discount over the service provided. In and from the US if the order costs $23.64 to ship, that is what they are charging you. Many orders in Canada are being charged $7-12 flat rate or even free shipping, for a service that costs over $25-30 depending on the weight and location. On a $100 order that can be a 30% discount..

I guess it all depends where one lives. I have received some orders quicker from China than Canada. This is rare, but it did happen once or twice. To me 1 week to 10 days from the US is the norm, same as Canada most of the time, and the only exception to this IME was Evapers. I am not sure how CP works but I get pkges quicker from out West than I do from Ont.

depends how close they are to the sortation facility and the airport. the richmond, bc sortation facility is down the street from the airport. just checked my bill and I paid evapers $8 for xpresspost. seems to be the norm. I even have different drivers that show up here from canada post. one that handles the in canada stuff (she was our old mail carrier for many many years and switched to parcel) and a guy brings the out of country shipments...

I order enough stuff within canada she knows me by name. I'll never forget the day I had a 40lb rc car show up in a 4 foot box... she opens the door ajar and yells in "Barry get your ... out here and give me a hand with this big box, I'm not carrying it myself"... we even have hiding places worked out to leave packages if I am not home.

it is aggravating when normal post is slow. I order parts from a shop in Ontario. they over charge shipping huge. I paid the same shipping, same day, on orders from ontario and from germany. 9 days from ontario, 4 days from germany... but remember we have customs. I had a large box of used rc cars I bought from the usa, the guy had marked gift. customs decided my box was to be inspected. they had it for 3 months. I got the box eventually all taped up with yellow tape saying opened by customs. and that's happened more than once. remember, the gov't wants money. and they don't like anyone stealing from the guild

Another example how postage fees can put one off. I was reading about 510 smart Tank Cartridges in another thread. Watched the video, thought it might be cool to try. They cost $10 for 5 pack. A bit too steep for five empty carts but I'd pay that because of my curiosity. Now, they want $10 shipping fee. And tax probably on the top on that. Wait a minute, $20+ for five pieces of plastic?? This is just ridiculous. The cheapest Canada mail works great, so why not to offer it? I don't want the tracking number, you know :)

Perfect example of where postage can be saved. 5 carts would ship with a $1.22 stamp, and it’s not the end of the world if they are lost. I think any supplier would be happy to work with you on request, after all they are paying possibly $15, only recovering $10 to ship you that. Win win in that situation.

However from experience that is a rare order. 99% are over $25 and of a size where it costs $3-4 (regular post, no tracking, no insurance) to ship the cheapest way. Consider the extra $4 is all it costs to get the order days quicker and insured, it’s the most popular option which is why it what all the suppliers are offering on the websites.
