Is There a Clearomizer FAQ Anywhere?

Googled, couldn't find an FAQ. There's all kinds of differences in clearos - CE1's, 2's, 3's, 4's, bottom/top/dual coils, short/long wicks, and lots of ways to mod. I'm lost.

Not that I'm aware of.
It would be tricky as so many new devices are released all the time, they would have to have device sections and subsections.
Then you have OEM gear, authorized OEM reproducer and then the many companies that make knock-offs.
What might work on a knock-off, might not work on OEM and vice versa. So the first question one would have to ask is 'What type of device do you have and who made it, not the vendor that sold it.'
For now at least, we have the 'search forum' tools on the upper right that can help you find post that pertain to your device.

I can tell you that there isn't a CE1. The E1 became the E2 Very Briefly and then became the CE2.

You're in the FAQ right now. If you scroll down through the various pages and threads in this section, there are posts (the threads that old are closed now) going back about 2 years, back into the CE2 days. Huge amounts of information and user experiences with the various devices over time. A lot of it is some really good, even amusing reading as you look back into time.
