I did the comparison. Ttwo batteries in series gave me the same endurance as a single 18650 at 30 watts on a 1.3 ohm stainless coil. The puff timer keeps track of the number of seconds the fire button switch is engaged. My Cuboid is in a drawer unused. I won't be lugging around two batteries to do the job of one. Do the same experiment and report your results.

Nothing compares to hands on testing and no reviews posted on line are complete. Except maybe @Mooches tests!

But compare them is exactly what I did and found that carrying the Cuboid is a waste of effort an my watts. The VTC mini lasts just as long. When asked I searched for informed opinions and and posted a link. Nobody has to take my word for it. Do the experiment for yourself. If you have a single cell and dual series cell mods with puff timers you have everything you need.
Look, the Cuboid has terrible battery life, I agree. The only thing I'm saying is that you can't take that to apply to all series mods out there, the science simply doesn't support that. When you do that you risk giving bad advice. I'm all for you giving recommendations based on your experience, and indeed the Cuboid isn't a very good choice if one cares about battery life, but saying (for example) that something like the Smok Alien doesn't provide longer battery runtime than the Evic VTC Mini based on your experience with the Cuboid is simply wrong. Do you have any other multiple-battery mods you can compare to?

My advice is, if you don't need the higher rating of series mods don't get one. IIf you're looking for more endurance without carrying loose batteries i can see two choices, get a 26650 mod liike the Pico Mega (my choice) or get a 2 cell mod wired paralell. I consider that good advice or I wouldn't offer it.

However, a dual-battery dna75 mod (parallel) would have worse battery life than a dual-battery dna200/250 mod, just as an example.

Perhaps,, i'm not familiar with the dna's with their lipos etc. But never the less, I'm persuaded of what I said previously and nobody has to take my word for it if you have the two styles of mods we're talking about.

Apples to sorta apples. DNA 200 board. One in a Therion with 2 batteries in series, 133W max. Triade with 3 batteries in series, 200W max. My Triade at the same wattage lasts longer than my 2 battery Therion. Same battery brands (25Rs) and same control board on both mods. It all comes down to Watt Hrs. 3 batteries, more watt Hrs than 2 batteries, and 2 batteries more than watt hrs than 1 battery.

Exactly. With more batteries you'll have more stored energy available, that's the simple fact. Beyond that chip efficiencies comes into play.
