I know subjective is pretty much a sacred term in the world of vaping, but I'm hoping for some kind of general advice like pure vg is generally bad in (carto/atty/Stardust) or fruit flavors are generally better (whatever) or don't put dark juice in a ___________

I'm asking because I've put some good flavors (good in the stock tank/atty) in a Stardust and they've tasted like booty. Really revolting, like not only lost the flavor but totally changed it. Wondering if it's a mistake I can avoid in the future, or if I made a noob mistake with juice that is a vets common knowledge. I use an ego-t if that helps.

So far no allergic reaction. I've been using juice that's a blend couldn't tell you what % though, bottle doesn't say. At the shop the guy, James, stopped me from buying a 5 pack of Stardusts, beginning to see why. Frankly I'd like to broaden the experience, but am hesitant to put in more $ for interesting cartos and such if I'm just going to fill them like an idiot. General do's and don'ts would be good to start from, and they seem to exist for device performance, but NOT juice flavor integrity.

Is it really all just luck of the "subjective" draw?

Been wondering the same thing myself. Been vaping on an Ego-T for about a month now, and noticed things don't taste the same. I tend to get a bland flavor if anything with the Ego-T, where it was vibrant out of my old 808-D. I did find a juice that did taste better in the Ego-T though.

Maybe it's an ego t thing? Meh! I feel like I could give a thesis on ohms and volts, but have no clue about common sense juice application with devices.

Everything I've tried works from a functionality standpoint, I'm just hoping to get rid of some of the juice crapshoot factor.

If there are juices that don't do well in a stardust, what works best in a carto, things to avoid. There has to be *some* loose guide to juices not to use in a __________

Fwiw, NEVER put peanut brittle or cherry cola in a stardust with an ego t. Not even kidding. Waited it out and actually vaped both tanks over a day long. It only got worse.

LOL, doubt I will after that comment. I dont know of any hard guides for that, there may be one somewhere. I think it is more the composition of your juice - ie pg/vg ratio. The only juice flavor I know hearing warnings about is cinnamon - dont use in any type of tank. Something in the cinnamon eats plastic or o-rings. I would try a 70pg/30vg juice that you like & see how that works for ya

I did a quick check - the sweeter juices gunk up anything faster. With carto's & CE2's, this also means the wick/wadding gunks up - wicking problems again. Then you burn the wick/wadding & they are Melba. As in toast. I personally dont like sweet vapes, cloying aftertaste to me. you might look at using atty's for your sweeter juices, as well as the composition
