Is there a tutorial for making this coil?

I have tried making this coil at least 10 times and just can't seem to get it down. The videos I looked up kind of talk about how to do the coil but not in much depth.

I am getting very frustrated as they should be simple but I just can't seem to get it down. I appreciate any suggestions. This is a picture of a factory built coil

You need round nosed pliers to make that bend like you want it.

Imagine the coil with out those bends in the legs.
Now coil it tight around the jig and point the legs in the direction they should be prebend then with the coil still on the jig just grab it with your fingers where it should bend so the bend doesn't effect the rest of the coil, bit it with the pliers and bend.

Holy cow @whiteowl84! that is some gorgeous work!! Is there a function to such an elaborate build or do you do it just for its artistic value (it really is quite pretty!)? (BTW that was an honest question from one who is uninformed. I am in no way meaning to belittle such incredible craftsmanship.)

Thanks.
Yeah they're functional.
Performance scale:
Round simple coils, twisted/helix variations, clapton, alien, framed staples/staples, staple staggered fused clapton/staggertons

Every time you add ply, grooves, crevices, etc without gaining mass you end up with more juice being evaporated at once.
Staple variations are my favorite because they tend to be low mass and high in surface area. Staggering that gives you more...it never ends.
This is one of my favorite builds so far.

Really nice and awesome work! Definitely an art to making those coils. For a long time I resisted trying any of these coils but 6 months ago I bought a spool of clapton. Because I use single coil mtl rtas and only vape upwards of 25 watts, I purchased 36/28g and continued to experiment for a while . After a couple months I found that it didn't make a noticeable difference tbh and am back to regular 26g k. I'm pretty sure the reason is my set up, at maybe such low wattages that wire just doesn't shine like it possibly would maybe in a dripper at higher power. Also I found it a little soft and had to be a little more careful threading thru the wicking material and overall the coils didn't last. My regular 26g coils seem to last for months, but a couple of the claptons craped out in a few weeks due to shorts (probably due to mass manufacturing ) .

It would be easier with anything other than 22g.
I'd recommend straightening the wire with a drill first.
