I have a provari and love it. Just wanted to know if there is any vv pv that can run more than 15watts? Thank you.
Evolv DNA20 states it goes up to 20 watts, however it is just the chip, you have to build the mod. Maybe someone will chime in with advise on a mod that is already built and capable of over 15 watts. Just out curiosity, what do plan on doing with such a device?

The Saber Touch passthrough can run at 11 volts...more than enough to fry any coil.
Saber Touch Passthru ... I wouldn't ever recommend running any coil that hot tho
Do you know about the amps with this chip? How much it can push? Thanks

6amps, 7-20 watts the DNA 20 is a beast. I've seen a few mods using it for sale, but not a lot.
Lookup acrolein ......
Over 15 watts? DCC stuff?
I run at 15w all the time, how would 2 or 3 more be so bad?
When it comes to RBAs the watts have different results when running the thicker wire like 28 gauge. People are used to thinking over 10 watts is way too much, but that's only in relation to the thin wires used in atties and clearos. 15 watts on a 28 gauge coil produces way less heat than on 32 gauge, and these higher watts are needed to properly run thicker wire.
With thicker wire the bonus is better flavor and performance, the drawback is what the OP has run into. You can easily get it to work with a low ohm set-up on a mechanical, on a APV it can be tricky. Just switched to 30 gauge myself, and realized at my VAMO's max of 11 watts with one battery isn't quite cutting it. It works, but the response time is slow and I need just a couple more watts to be how I like it. I'm going to stack batteries so I can raise that limit to 15 watts. If I go even thicker to 28 gauge though, the 15 watt limit could be an issue.
Hopefully more decently priced APVs will come out with a 20 watt limit. The Provari also has changed the ohm limit from 1.2 to .8, and I hope others do to. It sucks ending up with a 1.1 ohm coil that my VAMO limit is just .1 ohm away from being able to run.

Glad to see someone is on the same page as i am. Like i said in the first post here i run 28ga and love it but i could use more watts . Yes 20watts would be great and i do hope someone makes them for sale. For now it looks like the only way to get one is to build it yourself. Imo 28ga wire gives the best vape but i know it will be better with more power. Going to look into the DNA20 chip.
Think after looking at both the DNA20 is the way to go..... Only one problem, i have no idea how to set one up. Is there any walk through that would show me how to do it?
