That's an interesting idea, but I'm thinking that the current from the charger would be too low. There are VV models such as:

That wasn't a normal Vamo. It screws into a mech via a 510 connection. I know it's pretty odd. I've never seen that one before.

I love those FastTech ones and keep thinking about it (I'm usually tethered to a place with a plug).
One question...does anybody make an automatic pure (no battery) passthrough? I'm currently using a Volt X2 (but don't mind changing to eGo thread), but kill the batteries using them as a passthrough.

That vamo5S head only is specifically built to fit on a mech mod, or as the OP probably is thinking to work off a passthrough/bypass.
But that one uses battery doesn't it? When the battery eventually dies, the thing stops working , right?
For no battery there's the vv-usb-mini-passthrough (bypass); unfortunately nobody makes a vw one yet;
for vw, the simplest thing I've seen so far seems to be the innokin itaste vv V3 passthrough battery.

I do own a pass This exact on to be specfic. I want something similar ,but with vv and vw built in, i use it mostly at my desk so find charging batteries pointless. Does anyone make something like that?
so u guys think the vamo mechanical mod head with the ego charger would work?

Oh; and there is the Provari "passthrough" which is a module that goes in tube instead of a battery, and it plugs into the wall.
I'm pretty sure it would work with some other tubes other than a provari; I'm guessing the zmax.
It probably wont screw onto the vamo because the male/female threading is opposite.
My mother uses a innokin itaste vv/vw 3.0 it's a nice little device for the price. She loves it.
