Tribeca is Halo (Purity/Nicopure Labs). Nobody else will sell it, other than a few niche vendors.

Halo sell good liquids, but the prices are too high. Also, many of the old formulations are unsuited to sub-ohm vaping as well.

If I wanted to vape it again, I'd buy it twice as high nicotine and dilute it with an equal amount of plain VG.
The flavor can take it, as it was designed for early devices under 10w.

They do offer a high VG version of many of their juices. Still awfully expensive.

Vaping does help but I feel it's fine to vape between each cigarette but to replace it for me is OMG I just can't tried but couldn't !!
Welcome and glad you joined. Please do what works for you. Vaping is a different (healthier) way of life and cannot be learned quickly. Look at it this way, think of all the money you will be saving by vaping rather than smoking.

Once you decide that smoking is like inhaling the contents of an ash tray, you will start to get the message.

@kbeam418 im vaping since joining ecf yesterday with no single analog... nothing changed but feeling that I have a backup community helps a lot.

Good! It still takes will power to quit, those cravings might last a couple months. Remember vaping doesn't have 4,000 chemicals like cigarettes do so your' body still craves all that crap. You've got our support, it's tough.

Here's how I feel about it. Since I have freinds doing the same thing....

The answer is no, you don't have to. Nobody cares if you continue doing it and if that's what you want so be it. I have plenty of freinds who smoke and vape & that's their decision, most just vape where they can't smoke and some of those people I doubt will ever quit. I also have some of those annoying vaper freinds that try to "convert" every smoker freind they have, which they fail at 99% of the time... that doesn't work. The only people I help are the close friends who sincerely ask me for it (usually after heart issues or being told to by a doctor or something). And even then I just point them at a mod and atty, I don't have time for babysitting, nobody did that for me. Some ask me every now and then if I think they should quit, like they want me to hold their hand or something, I tell them apart from smelling like crap, it doesn't affect me one bit.

If you decide somewhere down the line you want to do it, the best way is to quit everything smoking/vaping for several days and then pick up vaping again, or just stay quit. I've quit several times and it's really not that hard, staying quit is the tricky part, but dual users have it harder than most bc you've now made your body used to absorbing nicotine (and the thousands of other crap) in two different ways.

When I quit, it was bc I got tired of smelling like a crusty ashtray and bc I was having trouble with shortness of breath when working out. (actually I couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without stopping to catch my breath). Point is, nobody told me to do it.

It's about as effective as the people who knock on the door trying to convert you to their religion. If someone really wants to know more they'll ask. I'm always willing to talk to my smoker friends that show interest but if they aren't interested I leave them be.

My exact reasons for quitting too. It certainly wasn't to save money! :?:

My grandfather lived to be 90 and smoked 2 packs a day and since he was EIGHT! Maybe he would have lived to 100 if he didn't smoke but was one of the lucky ones. Many aren't so lucky and nobody can deny that smoking is terrible for you. Why chance it?

I smoked for over 30 years and am so glad I finally got away from cigarettes just over a year ago thanks to vaping. Mainly because I don't want to carry an oxygen tank to my daughter's wedding (she's 4) or be taking a dirt nap.

It is very hard to quit smoking and I found that experimenting with the right hardware and getting the right flavours at the right nic strength is half the battle.

Yeah it's super annoying, I got one friend who works in a vape shop and she like, can't turn it off... if someone is a smoker it's all she talks about. Thing is, the people she tries to "convert" always go back to smoking.

That was a bonus, down the line, but when I quit, vaping wasn't actually cheaper that smoking.

@AlFady - In answer to your question, "Is there a way out?"...yes there is!

I know what you mean about smoking sort of being like a friend that's always there with you. It helps you in stressful times, you enjoy having your morning coffee with it, or a drink with it when out, and it helps you wake up in the AM, and goes with you on long drives in the car, etc. It was a big part of my life for 42+ years at 1 - 1 1/2 packs a day.

Tried many methods to quit over the years, but none worked, mainly because they didn't help with the "hand-to-mouth" habit part of smoking, at all. Family members who smoked, either quit long ago, or died of smoking related illnesses, (except my niece that I'm helping with vaping now, to quit smoking). All my longtime friends and past co-workers...same story - either all quit years ago or died because of it. I was THE last holdout, the 1 person everyone thought would never quit smoking. I had managed to get down to less than a PAD by June 2013, but couldn't go any lower...or so I thought.

Then in November 2013, something like the flu hit me and I couldn't smoke for 3 days. I finally had 1 that next morning right away. I coughed so badly...I thought I was going to cough up a lung! So I dug out a JoyeTech 510 double e-cig kit I'd bought on a whim about a year earlier. I knew I personally wasn't ready to go "cold turkey" giving up my "old friend". So, after buying (4) 10mL bottles of a few eliquids to get me started...for the next 2 months, I smoked and vaped, while gradually cutting the smokes down each week. Another thing that helped me, was seeing how many cigarettes I wasn't having...because I was vaping and enjoying it more each day, than smoking. On January 14, 2014 I had my absolute last cigarette, and I know I'll never have another one.

Healthwise since then, my osteoporosis has been downgraded to osteopenia, my blood oxygen levels are way up, my mild COPD is now non-existant on X-Rays, and my lungs sound clearer to my doctor than they have in years! Also, (and I especially love this part)...now my clothes, house, car, and I don't smell like a stale, nasty, ashtray!

So, hopefully, you'll find whatever method, pace, eliquid, vaping set-up, etc. works for you...when/if you're ready. We've all been there, done that as they say, and we've followed many different paths to reach the same goal. When you need help and support on your own path...we'll be here.

Minne-soda!
Welcome and glad you are here! I'm not even sure how many years I've lurked around here now and I will say that a night at the bowling alley (extremely rare) I'll smoke a cigarette.

When I started vaping it took me forever to find something not fiddly that was right for me. I loved smoking and I never wanted to quit. But watching people get diseases and die made me know I had to. Your vaping community will be your family and it's filled with amazing people. Take some time and read through the threads here. Take your time to make the switch and find out what works for you. I still go on vape shopping binges and buy tons of stuff I don't need just to have them because it's fun. It's a whole new hobby for me.
Ask questions and we will all help you out. We were all where you are at one time or another!

Let me tell you a little story...

January 29th, 2012...a day like any other. I woke up, brushed the teeth, had my coffee and a smoke, realized that was dumb and brushed the teeth again lol. Did my routine and went off to work. Day went on like any other, and I smoked away...felt a little uneasy, and there was a burning in my lungs. I went home, did my routine and plopped down on my office chair, lit up and after a pull started VIOLENTLY hacking and coughing, covered my mouth, and after I was done saw specks of red all over my palm. "uh oh" I thought to myself, but coming from a healthy family with no health issues, I put it off to burst capillaries, and continued my smoke. Went to bed, and must have been coughing all night...when I woke my pillow was covered with more blood. On top of it, I felt completely drained, I was burning hot, my entire body felt like it was on fire, and I was shivering.

Cue emergency room visit. Lab tests all come back ok other than a level of this or that low, but my x-rays weren't so great. Stayed at the hospital as I was scheduled for additional tests. Went to get an MRI, and was told there were spots...more than one or two, and they looked concerning. My other symptoms pointed elsewhere, and the doctors were assuring me that if it was something more serious that it had been caught early enough for effective treatment.

A day later, there's a marked improvement in my condition, and I continue to improve. More tests revealed that I had indeed improved, and would be released. What do you think I did the second I got home? I lit up, after almost 5 days smoke free, and again, coughed up a lung. I went out that same day and found a cigalike...I had a nearly full carton of cigarettes that I threw out, just to keep them out of my line of sight. I spent the rest of the day, trying to vape while coughing. I was lucky...my spots were my immune system reacting to inflammation and infection...had no idea it was a viral infection, doctors had no idea, I am thankful to this day. The next day, I counted my lucky stars and swore analogs off.

(I know I missed details here and there. My point is, quit on your own, before something frightening hastens your decision)

That was 5 years ago today. I still can't believe I quit a 20 year crutch. If I could do it, anyone can. The most important thing is WANTING to quit, otherwise you never will.

" All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the power of any.” ‭
1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭ASV‬‬

You are under the power of cigarettes.
But perhaps that's why you choose this as the quote for your profile, because you already know that and it's your inspiration to quit.
You can do it. Maybe not today. Maybe not by tomorrow or even by next month. But you can do it, one cigarette at a time. Each one you don't smoke puts you one step closer to your goal of zero. You'll get there.

My g/f of the time was just starting vaping while still smoking. We crawled into bed to go to sleep, and I went straight to sleep. I woke up at 6a, and she wasn't in the bedroom. She had spent the night in the recliner in front room. I got her up, asked what happened.

"You started coughing and sending lung cookies across the bed. One hit me in the face. I cleaned up a few of them, but you kept coughing 'em up."

I took her to bed, tucked her in and waited till 11a when vape shop opened. I got myself one. (I cleaned up the spots first.)

Stayed with her another 5 days then I dumped her lazy ...., sleeping till 1pm everyday. I had energy now, I'm a non smoker!
