Is there a way to set it up to automatically set the Volts for you?

I tried searching for auto settings, but keep finding it's for the fire button. I'm just wondering if there is a way to set it to automatically set the Volts for you, once it reads the ohms from the atomizer, clearomizer, or tank? I usually just follow the charts I have printed out and then adjust a little up or down, as needed. I also see it gives me a recommended Watts, but not Volts. I'm not very mechanically inclined and don't really know how to convert watts to volts. I've seen formulas all over the forums for it, but I can never remember. I'm just trying to take the easy way out, I guess. I know, I probably shouldn't have jumped into the world of APV's not knowing all my stuff, but they do give a great vape. Also, like I said, I do go by the charts for the main part, and read up on all the battery safety information that I could find. I use a special bag to place my APV's in while they are charging, protected batteries or not. Anyway, I'm getting away from my original question. Thanks in advance to all who help me! :)

Using it in wattage mode is what you are looking for. Wattage mode means that the device will look at the Ohms and use the necessary voltage to deliver the wattage you set it for.

I don't own an Evic myself, so if you need help setting it I am sure someone will chime in.

Thank you! I will have to look on it to see if I can change it to wattage mode!

If you have it in wattage mode already, you can set it to also show, the voltage at the same time, it also will show you what ohm coil at the same time. In wattage mode, you just hold the adjustment ring, to the left or right, it will show the change, in the upper left corner of the screen. So in wattage mode you get to see both settings of the watts and voltage. If you just have it set to vv you don't get that option, but as far as I know you still have to set your volts or watts yourself.
I hope that helps :)

Thank you very much! Darn, so I can't be lazy! No problems, I can move the adjustment ring easily!

I was able to change it display ohms and wattage, instead of the date and time. The volts still show up. Anyway, it's better for me this way. Although, it says I should have the eVic my 1.8 ohm clearomizer set below 3.0 volts! The vape is too cold with it set that low, though. I pushed it up to 3.6, anyway. Thanks, everyone! :)

I always just ignore those, and set it where I like it anyway, I read some where on here that the evic is slightly off when it detects the ohms anyway. I have had mine, for a little over a month, and I am still using the same heads, so turning it up a bit does nothing.

I'll admit, I haven't looked at my chart for the "safe vape" for this clearomizer with Watermelon in it. I just took it off a regular eGo battery to vape it on the eVic. Wanted to see if it would have a better taste when warmer, which it does, a bit. That sucks about not doing anything when you turn it up! I have heard about the ohms being off on some eVics. I don't have any clue what some of my clearomizers should be, though. I got the iClear 16, that I'm using on the eVic, with my iTaste MVP kit. I don't recall the kit saying how many ohms they are supposed to be.

Ohm readings will always fluctuate with the life of any atomizer. I have an evic and my readings fluctuate with usage depending on atomizer life and debris/gunk on the connection. I have it set on watts at 7-7.5 so whatever atomizer/cartomizer I put on, the device will automatically set the voltage for me. Many have said, and I agree, it's the lazy way of vaping. Damn I'm lazy...LOL

Watts = volts x volts divided by ohms
Volts = watts x ohms, square root

Nothing wrong with being lazy while vaping! :p

Well I just meant that it did not fry my coils, when I turn it up I do notice a different taste, I am still a newb at a lot of the vape delivery devises out there. I am just learning little by little, and sharing what I know when I can. I have been just using the pro tank on my evic, and I haven't tried anything else yet. As long as these keep working for me, I will just stick with them, I am spending way too much money on this.

Spending too much money, I understand. That and being a newbie to APV's. I was using 808's from Volt and a couple of eGo batteries. Then I discovered the iTaste MVP and thought I'd give it a try. Hubby got the Vamo V2. Not even a week later I learned about the eVic and just had to have one. Whenever I get a new toy, hubby needs to, also! So now we both have two APV's. He's just started vaping again, as the 808's and eGos weren't doing it for him. He loves both of his APV's and how much vapor they can produce! I've noticed he's slowed down on smoking analogs quite a bit, since he's gotten them! :)

My last cigar I had on 4-19-3013, I bought an ego t/c set up, and I still use the batteries, but sense I bought the pro tanks, I have been using them all the time, so all the ego t/c atomizers and tips, are just sitting here unused. I also bought the evic eca which I still use sometimes, but I am disappointed with it mostly, I should have just stuck with the pro tanks. Oh well just that learning curve thing. :)

Have to learn, someway! Sometimes reviews aren't enough, as everyone's experience is different! I've been looking at eLiquid reviews on YouTube. On the good reviews, there were some negative comments and vice versa!
