well, i've been doing some brainstorming on these and they sure present quite the problem. Plastic/ delrin tips are elastic so you can just size them a thousandth smaller and they'll slide over and hold. Problem is, Delrin/Plastic starts melting at approximately 275F so, it's not the best candidate.
Stainless steel presents a bit of a problem getting it to hold and seal in the long run. I've got a few ideas i'll have to play with

What about a stainless one that has some kind of replaceable delrin insert. Sorry it couldn't just be easy, but in my experience things rarely are.
