Is there any way to search all images in a thread?

I was just looking around to see if there was any way to search an entire thread for all the images people have posted. I was unable to find anything close. I was just wondering if maybe there is a hidden way to do this. It would be nice to be able to search a thread like the Pico thread for all the uploaded pictures of the device.

I was looking at the page source of this site and I found that the forum software is powered by XenForo. I was looking around on searching images in a thread with that forum software and I found this page.

I am not sure if this site supports plugins like MyBB, but maybe there is a small media search plugin that the site Admin could install that would let us search for images like in the above photo.

With as many forums and threads this site has, some being completely dedicated to images of certain devices, an image/media search feature would take a lot of time off trying to page through hundreds of pages of a thread to look for media.

But this site is very well maintained and spam free. This is my only go to place when I am in need of E-cig related questions or knowledge.

No, there isn't a way to search for images. It would be virtually impossible to do so, as many are linked from off site. And even the ones that are uploaded directly would be difficult to search unless the file name was descriptive of what the image contained.

Yea, I was trying to do a "img" code tag search, and that didn't get me anything useful. I wouldn't even care if it were profile, post content, and signature images all jumbled together. At least then I would be able to skip the pages of no media.

Maybe some way to search links to image hosting sites like Imgur, photobucket, etc. But that would still exclude any other sites not in the list. Maybe a feature to tag photo content. Then it should show in tag related searches.

Including images along with image tags would require a bit more computing hardware than we're currently using. Not to mention, the software doesn't really support images per se, as far as a searchable element.

Sure, it could be done. But most sites probably wouldn't turn the option on as it would require additional hardware which doesn't come cheap on sites as large as ECF is.

Yea, that makes sense. The site seems to run very well. Haven't had any big issues with it. Last week there were a couple of times that the site wasn't loading for maybe 10 minutes. But that was the first time that has ever happened. :)

If you get a Cloudflare error, the first place to check is here: CloudFlare Status

This will generally let you know if it's a site issue or a Cloudflare issue.
